Kim Bo Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Cocoa Beach

Our experience was underwhelming to say the least. The counter staff at this take-out restaurant was nice enough I suppose but the food was not very good. We ordered popular staples of Chinese take-out, crab rangoon, sesame chicken combo meal and general tso's chicken combo meal. First, the portion size was smaller than any other restaurant that we have ordered from. Perhaps this is due to the business being in an area highly visited by tourists. Ok, I get that... The taste of the food on the other hand was is another story. Each dish had a unique (and not the good kind of unique!) taste unlike what we were used to eating, and we eat Chinese food often. Even the egg rolls were not good (heavy celery taste). Granted I'm originally from NYC and I am accustomed to good tasting Chinese food from pretty much any restaurant in the tri-state area; however I've lived in FLA for years and this food is poor even by Florida standards. Perhaps these recipes were concocted by another Floridian of the same name, Kimbo Slice (famous youtube street fighter and failed UFC fighter)? What ever the reason, one thing is for sure...We will not be ordering from this restaurant ever...

I am extremely unhappy. I have been ordering food from them every week for the last few weeks and when I substitute my rice for lo mein, they have never charged me. When I did it today, I expected the same result. Well they decided to charge me $2 extra PER PLATE. When I mentioned it to the man behind the counter, he got an attitude and told me that it's always been that way (mind you, I have NEVER been charged), and refused to do anything to help, or at least offered to comp it this time (or something to help). I work in customer service and that's extremely ridiculous, and very unprofessional. If someone wants to make it right with me, then I will be more than happy to change my review and continuing to sending people there, as well as my business. But until then, I won't be returning, nor will I send...

Best Chinese restaurant in the area. Food is amazing and tasty! Boss lady is super friendly to guests, and she thinks from the guests point of view. She suggested to us how much food portion is appropriate, and what combination of types of food will make our taste buds feel good. It was amazing. All their ingredients are incredible! No cheap ingredients and cut-the-corner portion. Lots of fresh, best vegetables and proteins. Source is amazing. Rice is perfectly well done. Soup is a must!!!
