Four Winds Motel — Hotel in Jackson

Loved it. Best value in Jackson. We just needed a place to lay our heads for one night as we headed north to the Tetons but this little motel far exceeded our expectations.

This is a no frills motel in Jackson, Wyoming and the most affordable place I found in a very expensive town. It is older but it's obvious the owners take great pride in keeping it very well maintained. It's perfectly located and so convenient. It only took about 8 minutes to walk to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and The Local right downtown.

Staff were lovely and helpful, there is plenty of parking for all the guests. The walls are concrete block so certainly not fancy but you also did not have to worry about hearing any of your neighbors!! The rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds and fresh bedding, good air conditioning and enough space for four adults and all our luggage.

No, this is not the hotel the Kardashians stay at when they come to Jackson, Wyoming, but if you or your family need a realistically priced, solid little motel to stay at for a few nights on your Teton or Yellowstone adventure, this will be perfect! Don't hesitate to book it - we were so pleased...

First the good. This property is conveniently located to all the downtown stores, restaurants and attractions. The staff at the place were friendly and helpful. But there was plenty to complain about. We travel heavy and we were assigned to a second floor room, and they were unable to switch us. My wife actually hurt her back carrying a heavy suitcase upstairs. Our mattress was very soft and sagging plus the room had few outlets for our electronic devices. Our room key would not work on 2 different occasions, after the maids had been to the room and we had to go back to the office and get new keys. The shower was lukewarm and on our final day we had no hot water. To their credit, after we complained about everything, they gave us a $100 credit...

We enjoyed our stay very much. It is an older property, reminded us of traveling with our parents long ago. That said, it's very comfortable! For the location, the price 100% could not be beat! It is a great place to lay your head after a day of riding or exploring!!! The owners/staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and maids start EARLY, they work very hard to make your room comfortable! I accidentally left my camera charger/battery behind. I was crushed when Chris phoned to let me know, as I have to have it for an event with my grandchildren. Chris said he is mailing it to me. I am so grateful for this!! Overall, we would definitely recommend and we would definitely stay at this...
