Pure Sugar Experience Wisconsin Dells — Local services in Lake Delton

During my last visit to Wisconsin Dells, I decided to stop by Pure Sugar Experience, and it was honestly one of the most fun and memorable stops of the trip. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a world of colors, lights, and, of course, candy everywhere! It's much more than a store: it's a visual, sensorial, and nostalgic experience for any sugar lover (like me).

The first thing that caught my eye was the themed decor. They have sculptures made entirely of candy, like a giant unicorn and a candy throne, perfect for photo ops. I was served by a very friendly, short girl named Andrea, who took some spectacular photos, and I was delighted with...

We came In at 7:40pm on a Tuesday during peak dells season. The woman at the desk didn’t welcome us, and rudely said “just so you know we are closing in 5 minutes” as soon as we walked in. No hi or anything. Hours are posted as open until 9pm, so we found it very strange that they were closing at 7:45.

The photo backdrops that are advertised were very run down. For example, there was a bath tub filled with ball pit balls. All of them were very dented in, and gross.

We didn’t purchase anything due to being rushed upon entering. Didn’t feel welcome or like valued customers. Not really worth the hype...

Stopped at Pure Sugar Experience and honestly, it felt like stepping into a candy-coated fever dream. We each grabbed a weird soda flavor (because who doesn’t want to sip liquid birthday cake or ranch dressing?), and then found ourselves in a Justin Bieber–themed bathroom. Yes… you read that right.

Outside, there’s a giant glowing princess and an oversized lollipop perfect for photos — because nothing says “vacation memories” like posing with a 10-foot piece of fake candy.
