If I could give zero I would! I have been visiting Florida for many years & visit Johns Pass every year. I visit $10 jewelry shop every year and ALSO purchase gifts for family & friends. I also have a buy 9, get 10th free stamp card. Well I went into the shop yesterday and found a few goodies that were on sale under $10. I purchased them because they were what I WANTED, not just because they were reduced. I normally spend between $50 to $60 EVERY TIME I enter the store. Yesterday i didnāt because my husband was impatiently waiting outside & I was going to return when I had MORE time to shop. Upon checkout, I kindly asked that a certain bracelet that I was purchasing (which was $5) be put in a small āpaper bagā since it was going to be a gift. She put it in a purple plastic bag and said she could only give me 1 paper bag and since she put the other 7 items in ONE large paper bag that was my limit. I said BUT TAKE back the BIG paper bag and give me a small one because that one was a gift. Well NOPE, she couldnāt do it. Keep in mind the costumer in front of me purchased ONE, $10 item & she wrapped it nicely with tissue paper and put it in a small paper bag!!!! I didnāt ask her for 10 small bags, I asked her for ONE! Gezzzz!!! So, I spent almost $20 and she spent $10 and I guess her purchase was more āimportantā! I actually wanted to say, I come to this store EVERY YEAR and spend a lot of $ but I did not want to sound petty for a paper bag. That being said, it left a VERY SOUR taste in my mouthā¦.its not about the 1 cent bag or the products I purchase that are from China with 95% markup, itās about customer service. P.S. I paid cash and she was a bit confused with giving my change (VERY simple math, nothing complicated). Maybe a bit more training staff on HOW TO handle actual currency and not only electronic payments.) This message is not intended to harm your business but to make OWNERS aware that sometimes itās the small things that can make or BREAK your business! I will continue to enjoy the other shops at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLoved the store itself, had lots to offer, but one of the sales ladies that rang us up was the RUDEST person I have ever encountered and it sounds like the same lady others mentioned in their reviews. We were in on 12/14 and 12/15. It was my birthday and my friend wanted to buy me a couple things (i was going to buy them). The lady said my friend couldn't buy them for me. (We later learned they have a card that you earn stuff after you buy a certain amount). She explained to the lady she wanted to purchase the items for me because it was my birthday. When my friend went to pay, her $100 bill was slightly damp and the woman said they didn't take damp money. Anyway, she used her card and it wasn't until we got back to our hotel that we realized she never rang up my items, NOR did she ask me if I still wanted to purchase them, so we didn't realize it. We ended up going back the next day to buy mine and a very nice petite lady rang us up. When we told her what happened, she apologized for the other lady and even took the damp $100 bill. She said the lady that was rude to us had a chronic illness (my mom had the same thing), but my mom was NEVER rude or unkind to anyone. Bottom line....there is no excuse to be ugly to customer's. If you don't feel well, i feel sad for that and have sympathy, but if you can't be civil then don't work with the public. BTW, between the 2 of us we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGiving 2 stars because of the horrible customer service my mother in law and I experienced here. First off no greeting of hi how are you or welcome. Absolutely beautiful jewelry I got a cute little mermaid necklace, but the associate who was working was NOT very friendly with her stuck up attitude. I have worked in retail and know it's not easy, but just be nice to guests to come in. It's like we were judged. First of all we're ready to pay we're at the register waiting over 10 mins while this lady is organizing the jewelry acting like she doesn't see us. We made the mistake of standing where it said register closed damn our bad and she had the nerve to say well you're standing on the register that says closed first of all there's only 1 register we were just standing at the wrong side of it with an attitude she said you have to put it on the pink paper we were like okay... then my mom in law said mam can you wrap those necklaces in separate paper and bags associate had the nerve to say "they all get wrapped in separate bags" with the Stankest attitude ever I wanted to seriously say something but i kept my cool. Then we ask for another bag and she throws it at us real mature lady. I don't think I'll ever be back here the jewelry is not worth it for her horrible customer service and attitude. She was tall blonde and super tan and older. This was yesterday at st.pattys day...
