The young lady at the counter was not friendly at all. She had a pretty nasty attitude. Not shy but more so she didn’t want to be bothered or be there. I’ve been coming here for a few years and just moved back from salt lake. This was my first stop for the day and really sets the tone. She was rude when I asked about a menu and I could barely hear her. I had forgotten they were in the wall behind and not at the register. I haven’t been here in a long time and now I don’t know if I want to come back. I also left a tip but regret that now. I’d rather have given it to her coworker who had great customer service. I noticed him nudging her to give the customer her order and queuing her to tell people to have a good day. She just stood at the register and pulled out her phone. I didn’t even know she would be my cashier when I walked in because she didn’t greet me or the person I was with. I know she knows how to speak up cause I could hear her when she was talking to her coworkers. I work at a coffee shop as well and this isn’t how we treat customers. Coffee is typically people’s first stop of the day. I did not feel welcome. The atmosphere was very cold. I’m extremely disappointed this has never happened here before. Food, drinks, and service has always been...
Read moreI was told that it was not possible to add an extra shot to a double espresso to make it a triple and that I would be charged for a double and a single. However, I was told that I could add as many shots as I wanted to a latte. When I asked what the difference was between pulling shots for a latte and espresso, I was told there is none, it's just how they charge. This is all it spite of the online ordering system allowing extra shots to be added to espresso. When I asked if I could order online instead, I was told that I'd be asked to pay the difference. When I asked why the online ordering system wasn't up to date, I was told it's because "updating the online system is too hard". On my way out I was told the reason you can add a shot to lattes but not espresso is because by adding a shot to the latte, you use less milk. I asked how many shots are in a large latte and was told four. This means that I could have spent less on a latte with no milk and gotten a fourth shot for the same cost as my triple espresso. When I asked why this was, I was told maybe they needed to raise their latte prices.
It's a shame because I used to really like...
Read moreI understand being busy or having new employees working but mistakes should never be at the customers expense. Went here with family members who have had great experiences, they said. However, the experience this visit left much to be desired.
We arrived at 9:52 am we did not receive any of our order until 10:49am. Then the part we received was incorrect. MISTAKE AFTER MISTAKE with our order. Then the coffee came out after the Food. Then the item that should have taken the least amount of time to prepare (the muffin) was forgotten and then after several trips to the counter to inquire about the order the server realized she forgot to add the muffin. Even with all of the confusion with our order, they made sure to charge for the MUFFIN. Then she brings the muffin out COLD. This was ordered toasted. Many mistakes and not Even a complementary muffin?! We waited an hour for a meal that could have been prepared in 20...
