I emailed Farr's last week and they never responded. I get that people run out of stock, but they were out of a lot of things and their staff was rude and unprofessional. Extremely frustrating. They never emailed me back, so I'm posting this public negative review. Here is a copy of the email I sent:
To whom it may concern,
I’m emailing you to describe our immense disappointment tonight with the Farr’s Ice Cream located in Ogden, UT.
Tonight was my daughters birthday and all she wanted was her favorite ice cream. A brownie sundae with fudge and cookie dough ice cream.
We hopped in the car and drove 40 minutes to your location, as we had been there once before and we found it quite enjoyable. We arrived around 5ish PM, Saturday evening.
We stood at the register in your upstairs portion of your building to get our sundaes for a good 5 minutes before someone finally noticed us and asked if we’d been helped (that was our first disappointment). We told them we had not, and they proceeded to take our order. To our immense disappointment, we were told that one by one, each ingredient we desired was “out”. No brownies, no cookie dough ice cream, etc. We were told we could have vanilla ice cream with fudge and that was essentially it.
Frustratingly, we left without ordering anything. For being so early on a Saturday evening, this was incredibly annoying and disappointing. We ended up going to Arctic Circle, which nobody wants to do.
Tonight a little girls heart was broken due to lack of planning on your part, as well as us wasting almost an hour and a half in the car.

Read morePulling up there was limited parking, it was a struggle finding a spot to park. After that the inside was a fun retro 50s theme. A lot of the chairs were missing chunks though and run down looking. There was a lack of structure upon ordering and checking out. Everyone seemed to form a line at the register to order ice cream, but others would walk in to the counter and they'd get their order taken first. Very frustrating to stand in a line and be the one waiting as new people walk in and get their order taken first. I asked them to describe to me what the Caramel Caribou, the lady told me it is vanilla ice cream with caramel and walnuts. I took a bite and it didn't have ANY nuts, no caramel, and was just vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips. I ordered my ice cream in a waffle cone to which she gave it to me in a cup. When I told her I had ordered it in a waffle cone she said "Oh, sorry" and then plopped a waffle cone on top of the ice cream in a cup. That is significantly less ice cream than what I ordered and was really frustrating to not get what I ordered or was told. Then to not fix my order and just plopping a cone on it and calling it good was not quality service. Very disappointed in the taste, price, quality, poor service, and poor management. Staff kept asking us waiting in line to move so they could get from behind the counter leaving nobody behind the counter taking orders for at least 5-10 minutes. Not worth it...
