We just recently stayed at this Days Inn from Oct. 2-6,2025 from the front it looks really nice but as soon as we got in the nightmare began it is really outdated and needs full renovations.|In the room the carpet was almost black I was afraid to take off my shoes , the sheer curtain was ripped off , the sofa chair was really old with ripping on the sides , the pillows were the size of a throw pillow’s that my husband was questioning why do we have half pillows? I requested for 3 more half pillows.|I was about to take a shower and was so disappointed with the color of their towels it was so old that it’s almost brown instead of white. I have to use my own towel for the 4 nights that I was there.|The light in the bathroom was not working so I have to call the front desk for it to be fixed they were able to fix it but the next day it didn’t work again. |The television was not working either and when my husband called they told him to connect the hdmi himself which he refused to do by himself so they send the front desk to fix it .|The worst thing is when we had breakfast the seats were really outdated and the fabric was peeling off , the lady in the breakfast area was looking at us intently while we get our food she’s also making comments in her language I felt so uncomfortable I felt she’s telling the other male staff that we are taking so much food .Both of them didn’t say good morning to any guests .|The next day while having breakfast and waiting for another table that has 4 seats |the male staff Mukesh started yelling and pointing to my coffee cup and yogurt from the 1st table with two seats for me to dumped my garbage pointing to the garbage he did this 3 times I was really surprised since I was just transferring my stuff to another table everyone was looking why he was yelling at a guest .|I then asked him why is he upset and yelling? Inappropriate behavior I don’t leave any garbage after we eat I always clean up anyway he just disregard me.|I then reported his behavior to the front desk and asked for the manager.|The manager Daisy called me while we were on our tour she was apologetic and told me they have to improve their attitude and will talk to them .|I have to add that the fruits were almost rotten and discolored that I didn’t eat any fruits.|I really wanted to change hotel but it was booked a year ago and my sister and her husband was with us and for seniors like us it’s very hard to transport our luggage’s they are also disappointed with this stay.|I would never stay again in this hotel I will enclosed the photos for other guests to see and be warned . |We paid over $200 per night and we expected more but everything was disgusting.|We looked for other hotel that is so much nicer and cheaper we found lake Powell resort and|marina which is so nice pls book this instead don’t stay in Days Inn you will be...
Read moreI was taking a shower at Days inn hotel on August 6th, 2024, 11:00 p.m. When I got out of the bathtub, I slipped, fell and hit my head in the tub. After getting up with the help of my family, I found that the tub had cracked and the back of my hip was cut by the crack. At that time, I contacted the front desk to inform them of the situation, and it was 11:30 PM at that time, if my husband accompanied me to the hospital, there would be no one to take care of my 5-year-old child, so I did not seek a doctor that night. I stayed in bed and rest. When we checked out, the hotel confirmed that I had intentionally damaged their bathtub and demanded compensation of $.2,500. The hotel staff said that I was the first guest to fall down here, which had not happened before, so it was my fault, and they also thought that I damaged the tub on purpose. This is unacceptable! First, the hotel has no handrails beside the tub. There was a handle on the other end of the tub, but there was a toilet outside and I couldn't get out the other side Second, the hotel didn't offer any anti-slip mats or other measures to prevent guests from falling. Third, the hotel did not have any safety tips beside the tub. The tub is slippery and needs attention. In this case, the hotel should be responsible for the safety of my fall, and I didn't pursue it even if it turns to me to claim compensation? Then we called the police, the police looked at the scene, he thought that I did not intentionally damage, and it is obviously not a crime, so there is nothing he can do. He told me if I had all my belongings and checked out, we could leave first without affecting the rest of the trip. Later, I found out that this hotel had directly charged $2,500 to my credit card without my signature, and obviously knowing that we would not approve, because their hotel pos machine had swiped our credit card and recorded the information when we checked in. Read moreIt’s the second time when we stay here, we liked that we get a room at first floor and we get to the car fast because you can park your car in front of the room. Hotel is closed to Horseshoe bend around 5 minutes and you can take a tour to Antelope Canyon. The room was big and clean, with clean towels and smells good. Close to gas station, Walmart, a lot of fast food restaurants where you can walk. Breakfast was good with a variety of food such as scrambled eggs, potatoes, milk, cereal, yogurt, waffles, coffee,sausages, fruits. Hotel was clean and smell good. Disliked · I pay through Booking, and it was a prepaid reservation but when I arrived there the guy from the front desk say that I need to pay, I explained to him that I have already pay but he insisted to pay there or call booking because he doesn’t know about this. After a few minutes and explanation I have to pay “0 $” just to show him the card. They don’t make any services in the room if you don’t ask at the front desk which is not good for a hotel, you should have services everyday and I don’t have to ask for those, that’s why you go in a hotel. They have some luggage carts right in the middle of the hallway which is ugly to see, they can find a hidden spot for that. In the room you don’t have enough shampoo and soap for 2 persons, and the room was for 4 people and if you don’t ask for services you remain without everything in 2 days.
