We went on two consecutive days and so were able to try out a good range of weapons. Never having shot any gun other than an air rifle before, Tim explained every gun and how to hold it. He was super kind, took his time with us, and really gave us a great experience as first timers.

Having been curious but worried about trying the Desert Eagle beforehand, he explained the difference to the other pistols they have. I decided against it at first, but Tim let me upgrade from a Pick-3 to a Pick-4 package mid way when I felt ready for it and it was absolutely worth it! It is a lot harder to handle than the 1911 and definitely feels like a small canon in your hands when it goes off, but with Tim’s instructions on the grip it was very doable. I was kinda happy that it was over when all shots were fired, but I also liked it so much I shot the Desert Eagle on both days.

Not sure if they let you upgrade packages mid way when they have multiple other people/groups already lined up to go in after you, but I would guess they do, since I felt like they let you take your time in there.

Never shot before, my partner wasnt really interested in shooting so had reservations about the experience going in. Matts proffesionalism, kind attitude and relaxing and controlled prescence made the entire experience so much more enjoyable than either of us could have anticipated. The facilities are extremely welcoming and tourist friendly, they have a map for tourists to put pins in to represent where the visitors havr come from, and there was pins from all over. Great selection of firearms, top notch safety equipment, fun souvenirs to take home, outside of the complimentary target papers they give. Highly recommend for anyone interested remotely in shooting. The tips given and care taken ensures you will have a great time and shoot guns in a suprisingly comfortabel way. Matt should be commended for his amazing work, very freindly and again...

I highly recommend visiting and shooting at Gunfighter Canyon. My wife and I are complete novices when it comes to shooting guns. When we visited, we talked to Nate (our instructor) about what types of guns we wanted to shoot. He was patient enough to help us walk through what guns they had and helped pick out the right packages for each of us. Nate did a great job of making sure to answer all of our questions, made us feel safe for our first time out on the range, and, most importantly, made sure we really enjoyed ourselves and had fun.
