Edit: after looking through other reviews I have been made aware of the owners unprofessional comments to someone who leaves a bad review, this is for you mam, I’m sure other people have had a great time, and service was amazing, but for our experience this happened, and it was not a good night, this was OUR experience, and it is unacceptable, it doesn’t matter how many other people say you did good for them, it was not good for us, and my opinion and review is valid, thank you goodday

Original Review: Me and My husband Decided to go on a double date, and we all collectively agreed to try the barnyard, having never been there before we thought it looked fun! all we ordered, when we arrived was 2 full orders of the wings, Appetizers, and were waiting for OVER an hour for them to come out, only when I looked back to see where our waiter was and making eye contact with them chatting up a storm in the front, did they bring our food out

The bar is DRAMATICALLY over priced as well, a Lemonade WITHOUT any Alcohol in it was over 8$ not even the sodas cost that much, and it cost an additional 4$ for adding alcohol, which they completely skimped out and didn’t even give us full shots, I know what happens when I drink vodka, and it was like I didn’t even have any alcohol at all, and they packed it so much with sugar with out asking if we wanted sugar, I ended up having a HUGE block of just granulated Sugar on the top of my drink, and thought it was ice, boy was i wrong, I started almost vomiting outside because my blood sugar sky rocketed so high, I almost had to tell my husband we needed to leave and go to the hospital. They said it was a Peach Lemonade with Vodka, the glass was basically half straight granulated sugar.

When it came to mini golfing we had a blast, and really enjoyed it!

But when it came to the bill, almost 200$ for 2 platters of wings 12 pieces of wings btw. 4 fountain drinks, and then my husband and his friend had 1 beer and me and his girl had 2 lemonades each, and splitting the bill down the middle 85$ for a beer and 2 drinks that had hardly any alcohol, was more like straight sugar, is WAY to expensive. Their menu is on the smaller side, and their burgers and club Sandwich all use the same add on toppings, and basically the 1 burger that had no toppings was the same exact thing as the the other burger just you had to pay to add on those toppings and it wasn’t a very wide selection, we have literally gone to almost every other restaurant here and we have gotten WAY more food and drinks then what we have gotten here for a cheaper and better price

We literally all agreed Never again, because the one thing we did order, also has caused me Severe Stomach pains this morning, and I’m pretty sure I got food poisoning

I highly DO NOT recommend this place for enjoying a meal and the bar, they are over priced and very slow, the only plus about this place is the small golf course, but your better off paying to just go play golf at the golf course

2/5 stars from me, because the golfing was fun, but that’s it, we all agreed we won’t be going back anytime soon

Another issues we all had that made us all very uncomfortable was the bathrooms, they were co-ed bathrooms, and it just didn’t seem right to have grown men and women going into the same bathroom together with kids and everything and just bunching it into one, granted all the stalls had doors, but it was very surprising a bit startling while washing our hands and men are coming in and out of the bathroom as well, I did not feel comfortable and I honestly felt more scared for the potentials with children this has 100% needs to be changed, there should be no reason why a little girl should be walking in and having men in the bathroom with her,...

First and foremost I came here with my family when we first showed up no problems were immediate we were greeted and even had 3 people come by to check up on us but as soon as it came to server wise we had a young lady come to our table and bring our drinks and the weird thing was afterwards she proceeded to tell us faliesha would be our server and she never came around because I seen her with another table not only that this other lady continues to help us but she gave us menus we ordered appetizers and that came out instantly but we told her that we might expect more people and she tried to take all the menus and leave us with none and at this time we’ve already been there for 45 mins and we get our order in an hour later and another lady comes to check on us and I tell her we’re ready to order but she tells me someone will be over in 2 mins which turns into 20 mins and we finally get our food order in we asked to be moved inside and the lady helping us doesn’t check on us and I had to flag her down just to get some water and she brings a pitcher of water with no cups and when we get our food order after 2 hours of sitting and waiting all together we have no silverware and my friend had to walk to the bar where our server was standing around at to get a silverware for her salad and you’d think her ordering a salad she’d get it before everyone else’s order but nope she waited over 2 hours for it and after another 30 mins goes by my friend wants a to go box and the server comes by to tell us the burgers almost done and we tell her to forget about it and she doesn’t come back and my friend again finds her at the bar and asks for a to go box that she could’ve brought but than proceeds to say she was waiting to bring it along with the burger we told her we didn’t want than we walked up the bar because she didn’t come by with our ticket so we can leave on top of everything that was served to us we get our tickets over 200 dollars and we seen a service charge for 36 dollars if anything this lady that served us in my opinion...

The atmosphere is fun for families with lots to offer. The service is absolutely horrible. Seems like the owners don’t mind either from their comments below and viewing their attitudes while dining. Maybe do some table touches?

To be fair, this place is new, about a week. Now to be honest…. The restaurant industry is tough to survive. Great food with poor service, locals don’t come back. Meghan, our server, took 10 min to greet us. She was not knowledgeable about the menu, not exactly friendly or upbeat either. While asking for our check, she noticed her friends leaving and decided giving them hugs saying goodbyes for a couple minutes was more important than dropping the check off she was holding. I guess the automatic 18% gratuity added to everyone’s check, she didn’t need to worry about the customers. I read below from the owner that this is added so they are fairly compensated. Well, pay them better hourly…. Or have the servers provide good SERVICE, and they will be fairly compensated. The food I thought was pretty decent/good. We happen to be there for over an hour before we got our food, but it was still decent. It took so long we had to ask for it in to go boxes and take it with us just to eat it. We were outside under the covered patio enjoying the outside weather. A quick storm blew in and it begun to rain. Well, the cover did nothing as the rain leaked right through it. Might call your handy man on that one. As far as the bathrooms go, I used them. As a parent, and the crazy world we live in now, I was pretty shocked knowing that everyone shares the same bathroom. 8 or so stalls but not a safe environment by any means for a family place.

To have a restaurant being new, is one thing. Seems like they skipped corners of training staff (servers/cooks), doing dry runs to ensure it’s a great opening. The owner was installing TVs during the lunch hour. From a liability/safety/business practice perspective, don’t open till your ready! They clearly just wanted to start getting some...

🙋🏻‍♂️People: Our server was Oliver--he was kind, quick, and attentive to us. He had a big smile and was very warm and friendly. 🎈 Experience: We arrived at 4 PM, prior to the dinner rush, which helped us enjoy the place more. What a great set-up! We sat outside where they have various yard games set up for a variety of ages. I successfully beat my wife in tetherball, which was a plus. The menu is simple and straightforward. I do wish that some of the options available for dinner were available earlier (I probably would have tried the chicken-fried steak.) We ordered the classic cheeseburger and the loaded nachos and finished off with the pazookie. The burger meat was just right, and had a good flavor to it. The bun tasted homemade. It's not the most amazing thing to look at, but, we came to eat our food and it did just what it need to there. They gave me more fries than I could possibly eat. What the burger lacked in looks was made up for by the presentation of the nachos. My suggestion there would be a little less beans, a little more queso, and a little more meat. That would have balanced it out nicely. The pazookie was delicious, but could have been cooked just another minute or two. It was a nice end to the meal. ,🚀 Do It Again? Yes, I'd come here again, especially so I could try the dinner options. It would be a fun place to bring the kids, giving them something to do other than make messes 😂. Thank you to Oliver and the Barnyard Crew (sounds like a cool band name.)

I travel all over the state trying different locations from time to time. This was my very 1st visit to this restaurant after hearing many people praise its food. The facts are obvious once exposed. This place only serves certain types of people I noticed through close observation which are groups of women and tourists. I arrived with a couple people and observed 2 of the servers ignore Us after being seated and given water. After 45 minutes of waiting, nobody came to check on Us only later to find out nobody was given our table to serve. It's pure ignorance of any restaurant to treat any new or potentially repeat customers with such abandonment for making sales. There were 3 servers in the vicinity in which only 1 seemed to be working a section. The other 2 servers (a man in a cowboy hat and a butch girl with short hair) seemed more interested in flirting and conversing with a pair of ladies nearby to Us. In my opinion, this restaurant isn't worth the stop. The entertainment shown outside is just to draw in suckers and tourists with overpriced games and way below substandard service. You will find better service at the Burger King or McDonald's than at The Barnyard.
