Del Lago Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Town of Lake George

Fantastic experience from start to finish! We ordered the Del Lago quesadilla which includes bacon, peppers, onions, chicken and cheese - yum! Everything was seasoned perfectly. It was a very flavorful quesadilla, nicely crisp on the outside, and a filling portion. It came with a beautiful crema, guacamole and pico de gallo.

We also had the smoky short rib tacos. Oh my goodness I went to heaven. The flavor was insane! So good. Our server told us they were small, and they were, but I liked having room for dessert and leaving without feeling heavy. Also the portion was fair for the price and high-end quality of the food.

We tried the tres leches cake for dessert - wow, what a delight! So special to have a house-made dessert that’s different from every other menu! And the presentation was gorgeous with fresh berries and a dusting of cinnamon.

Sharing the tacos and quesadillas and a dessert, we were perfectly full.

Our server was such a kind, genuine, classy person. She made us feel so comfortable and at home and truly enhanced the whole experience.

The restaurant was beautiful, clean, and nicely decorated, and cooled us down from the heat outside.

I can’t wait to go back and get those tacos again, and try some other dishes, as well as some of the one-of-a-kind drinks they have...

Phenomenal food!! We started with the chicken empanadas, which were perfect golden flaky pillows filled with creamy chicken and cheeses! For our main courses we had the classic beef and Al pastor tacos, both perfect sized entrees for myself and my daughter. The meats were perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the black beans on the side were some of the best I've ever had. My partner got the short rib chimichanga, which he said was one of the best. And the cocktails... Thank goodness we were within walking distance of the place so we could try more than one!!! The flavors of the drinks are clearly put together by a mixologist who understands complex flavors, something you will not find anywhere else in Lake George. Came here on March 2nd, 2025 with my Fiance. Was in Lake george on a little get away and this was our last meal on our little getaway in this town! Food was incredible! My fiance had the smash burger which was huge, it was absolutely delicious and was served with such yummy and crispy crinkle fries! I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with a side of garlic knots, the garlic knots were super tasty but the meatballs stole the show. Best meatballs i've ever had! Our server/bartender Korrine was also an absolute sweetheart and the rest of the staff was also very kind to us! 10/10 would have again when i'm back in town! Oh! The prices????
