We would definitely stay again!
We have 3 generations traveling together, including small children. The beds are pushed up against the wall, which for us, worked perfectly! I usually have to push the bed against the wall in other hotels. We also bring a foam mattress topper so that the teenager can sleep on the floor - plenty of room and front desk had no problem providing extra blankets. We also bring a white noise machine to drown out hotel noise so I cannot comment on the rooms sound proofing. Elevator works and is also quite; our room was directly across from it.
There is a microwave and mini fridge in the room. A/c worked great! Beds feel like memory foam, great nights sleep! Bathroom was very clean! There is a retractable clothesline in the shower. Shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Bathroom exhaust fan is clean and quiet. Shower was nice and hot, good water pressure, does not have adjustable shower head settings (which is fine for us). Be careful with the sink, the water can get very hot! (Not a problem for us)
They do have breakfast, waffles are made for you.
Location is less than 1mile from Yellowstone West Entrance. Zipline is across the street.
No pool or hot...
Read moreWe needed a place to stay for only one night on a recent weekend trip to Yellowstone, and were drawn to the Geyser Inn based on price and location. It is just three blocks from the entrance to the park, and was one of the only hotels I could find under $200 per night.||||We were pleasantly surprised. This is kind of a no frills place--no pool, no breakfast (due to COVID), and very basic, small rooms with small TVs. But on the up side, the customer service was fantastic, and its efforts to put guests at ease due to coronavirus were leaps and bounds better than the Marriott Springhill Suites in Island Park where we stayed the previous three nights.||||There was a sign on the front door requiring masks for all guests; there was plexiglass at the check-in desk; the check-in clerk was wearing a mask and gloves; and the place was immaculately clean from lobby area to elevator to the room.||||The room was small (two full-size beds) but the beds were foam/gel and very comfortable and quiet. We also enjoyed just walking around West Yellowstone in the evening. The hotel is on the east end of town, and it's really easy to walk anywhere from there.||||I would definitely book here again on...
Read moreI was hesitant about booking because it is a 2 star hotel but I was pleasantly surprised.
The inn was clean, staff was professional, easy check in/out process. Staff was wearing masks and hand sanitizer was readily available. It was comforting to know the establishment was taking the pandemic seriously.
The room does come with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker and coffee packets (hard to decipher online). I called before I went to confirm.
Bathroom: hairdryer mounted on the wall, soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower were very convenient.
Alarm clock has USB port which was convenient next to the bed, suitcase holder (don’t know what it is called) in the room to lift your luggage off the ground which made it easy to get into my luggage.
Ice machine is available, so we could pack our cooler for the day. Which was very convenient.
Close to the main strip and west Yellowstone entrance.
Pricier than I would typically pay for a hotel but it is all about the location and being a very touristy location, so it was expected.
Overall, very happy with our stay. Would...
