The Adventure Inn in West Yellowstone was a great find. I would highly recommend it. We stayed in the Hilgard Suite, which is 2 queens. The room is huge- plenty of space to store all your stuff and still have room to move around. It has an adjoining room, which has a small closet-type space in between, so you don't feel like your neighbor is listening to you. This room has 2 big windows, which provide lots of light. In addition to this, there are overhead lights, lights above the bed, and individual reading lights. So unusual for a hotel to have such good lighting! Fridge, microwave, Keurig, wine glasses (we got a bottle of wine while we were there), safe, small cache of paper plates/utensils for leftovers, plenty of counter space. Our room was on the 2nd floor, and it was super quiet. I never heard any of the neighbors. Very close to everything, including the National Park entrance (although West Yellowstone is such a small town, you're hardly far from anything). Our room was on the 2nd floor; stairs only - no elevator (there were 2 rooms on the 1st floor). Loved the combination locks on both the outside and inside doors (separate codes). Feels very secure. We were able to park 10 feet from the front door every time we drove in. We ate at the Buffalo Bar (twice) and...
Read moreFirst things first: like another review stated, don’t be alarmed that it’s in the back of an auto body shop. I had forgotten it said contactless check-in so I was surprised when we got the text with the codes for the main door and our room, stating there is no front desk. There are only a few rooms. Upon entering the inn and our room, we were pleasantly surprised by how thoughtfully it had been appointed. They really thought of everything. It was tastefully decorated and clean. As a family of 4, with our 2 teens in the mix, it was great that the toilet and shower were in a separate room so that the sink and mirror was always accessible to others. The only tips I could offer to management would be to perhaps have at least 2 luggage racks in the room and a recycle bin for water bottles etc. We had 4 suitcases so floor space was at a premium & luggage racks would have helped. It was nice to have bottles of water in the fridge! People who have gear to store (like a snowmobile!) will love this place! There’s even a common space downstairs with a full bath....
Read moreWe had just arrived after two days sharing a hotel room with 5 people in Gardiner and this condo was such a relief to see! We booked last minute so hotel rooms were scarce in both Gardiner and West Yellowstone. but my husband found this one and I was so impressed. We stayed in the first floor unit and it was very large with a full sized kitchen which is great to cook breakfast before heading out early to the parks. Also the second bedroom was great because it has a queen bed as well as a sofa sleeper for the kids. There is another room right down the hall from this one that is more of a commons area with another full sized, cleaned and stocked bathroom, as well as a tv and game table. The garage area has lots of waters and bags of ice stocked which come in handy when you are heading out for the day. The owner has a great attention to detail and we absolutely loved this Inn. We will definitely be back and recommend to...
