Tropicana — Hotel in Wildwood

Enjoyed my stay at the Tropicana Motel. Rooms clean and spacious enough (you don't go to Wildwood to stay in the room anyway). AC was efficient when needed. Only wish the breakfast options were more varied than the muffin (that's why 4/5 stars in service). Complimentary coffee always a plus! The parking can be tight for big SUVs, but wasn't a problem for me. Always had a spot when needed. Most important, the boardwalk and thus the beach, VERY close, i.e. short walk. It's not a good motel at all, the only thing they have going for them is proximity to the beach and boardwalk. The only reason I stayed here was because I was too tired to ride my motorcycle back home and every other hotel/motel were completely sold out. So it was my only option. It's basically just a place to lay your head for the night. Nothing more Nothing less. It serves It's purpose. And for that I'm thankful they had vacancy. The parking lot was extremely small and hard to get in to. There would often be a parked car right next to the entrance of the parking lot. We left on a day that garbage was being picked up, and of course the parking lot was blocked by the trash cans. Rooms were extremely dirty, mainly the floors. Beds were firm and there were some stains on the pillows. The only good things about this place are the location, and the service at the front desk were kind. Will not be staying here again!
