Taqueria el azteca — Restaurant in Wildwood

I love Taqueria el Azteca on Pacific. We decided to try the new location on Ocean Ave. Food was good, same flavor as original location. I am really glad they opened a larger location. On the day we went, we were seated immediately, but it took 15 mins or more to have some one come to the table to take our order. She apologized, which we appreciated. Although it wasnt crowded, it felt chaotic and really warm indoor. Staff seemed rushed, one dropped an entire tray of drinks, and shortly afterwards another dropped an order on the floor behind the counter. I honestly felt horrible for the servers, but it just didnt have the same rhythm and flow of the one on Pacific. The most surprising thing was the food was lukewarm when it got to our table. I've heard a lot about this place considering this is the second location so it must be good! I got the Quesataco al pastor and Oh my it was amazing full of flavor the cucumber agua fresca i got went nicely with it, my husband got the grilled mexican steak it was so juicy and tender he loved it. My only issue is the waitress kimberly couldn't have cared less to be there. She took our orders brought the food and didn't bother to check in on us Instead i saw her laughing with the staff being on her phone and going in and out the kitchen without actually even doing anything?? The Food was top tier but the service needs work. We will definitely be coming back because the food was a hit just hope to see better table...

This was the Wild Burrito last year which we loved and was sad they were gone but decided to try the new place. We were seated upon entry and waited for our waiter. I almost left when a customer who was seated after us got helped before us. My wife told me to give it 10 minutes and if they don't come we'll leave. The waiter came right before we left his name was Jose and he was polite and friendly. We ended up getting chips and pico and I got the Al Pastor tacos while my wife got the Al Pastor Azteca tacos. Have to say that they were delicious! The Al Pastor was juicy and very flavorful and my wife Azteca were loaded to the top! We were stuffed by the end and left very satisfied....
