It was the best stay in whole Vietnam. Hoi An is a beautiful city, very quiet, less traffic and the locals are much more relaxed and friendly.
The homestay was also the best I've had in Vietnam. The room is nice, big and lovingly furnished, but without being too crowded. The bed is very comfortable and the bedding smells very nice. The bathroom is large, clean and I had no problems with hot water. The towels are big enough to wrap around your body (and I am a plump woman) and they are clean. What I also liked were the high ceilings and a window for ventilation. The reception area and all the other public rooms are also nicely decorated and very clean. I enjoyed sitting on the veranda outside the entrance, eating and drink my Coke, working on my laptop or just watching people. The homestay is in a side street, so you are protected from the street noise and have plenty of peace and quiet.
And the best is yet to come: the owners. Ms. Thoung and Mr. Chuong are very lovely, nice, friendly and attentive people. They told me a lot about the Vietnamese culture (very important for me, because I travel to get to know the culture of the country and the people). We had lovely and interesting conversations in which we exchanged our cultures. I had a bad conscience because I asked so many questions. But Ms Thoung answered all questions with a lot of information and a smile.
Ms Thoung (and also Mr Chuong) is very attentive. She asks every day how you slept, if there are any problems and if you need help. She also asks every day if the room should be cleaned. I don't understand some of the reviews here complain about cleaning. If you don't open your mouth and say what you need, they can't help you. They can't read minds. And she asks multiple times a day, if you need something. Ms Thoung keeps the homestay very clean and attaches great importance to the satisfaction of her guests. She also took care of everything I needed. Tours, buses to the next town etc. She booked everything for me. My only job in Hoi An was to enjoy the time, relax and feel good. Ms Thoung was so nice, she searched for my shoe on the street in the rain, which I lost on the way to the homestay. (There was heavy rain and I had to take off my shoes. I lost one shoe). In my entire journey I have never met anyone who was so kind. AND IT WAS RAINING. SHE SEARCHED FOR MY SHOE. IN THE RAIN!!!!. I still can't believe how cute she is. She also gives good advice for restaurants and shopping and tells you where you need to be careful or pay too much.
When I am back in Hoi An, I will go to the homestay again. Ms Thoung and Mr Chuong are the...
Read moreGreat place! In the centre (5 minutes walking to river). It's very clean and confortable with AACC and fan. The girl in the Reception speaks english and helps you with everything. The price includes breakfast (omelette and big banana pancake with jam and coffee or tea as you want). Amazing breakfast! They have also tours and tickets really cheap prices and all organized. We are also happy because we arrived at 7.30h a.m and we could use our room with early check in. We stayed only 1 night but it worth it! The day after we went to My Sõn and when we came back at 15.30h, they let us to use the shower, they gave new towels to us and let to use bathroom and drink coffee for free. Very nice! We highly...

I had a truly wonderful experience at this homestay in Hoi An. The owner was incredibly kind, always smiling, and went out of her way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. She created such a warm and homely atmosphere that I felt completely at ease asking for anything I needed – and that made all the difference.
The room was spotless, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed was super comfortable. Everything was just right. I genuinely felt like I was staying with family, and it turned my time in Hoi An into something really special.
I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for everything – I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in...
