Highlands Coffee Ba Trieu — Restaurant in Hội An

FOOD POISONING! I Arrived in Hoi An and ONLY ATE one thing ie HIGHLANDS roast chicken roll which had some salad inside and a hot latte. Next FOUR days VIOLENTLY ILL confined to Hotel toilet. Rushed to DOCTOR CUONG on 2nd day to be put on a drip, 3 injections and 6 tablets 3 times a day to flush out the HORRIBLE BACTERIA. On my return to Australia I contact Highlands head office and sent the RECEIPT as well. I received comments from the Customer service executive Ms Phuong Truong that I must be “mistaken”, I must have “bought from elsewhere”, ”not consumed it quickly enough” (item was brought to me by my wife 2 minutes away by air conditioned taxi) there “standards are checked 6 monthly by the Government” etc etc Basically they could not care less about an overseas visitor getting VIOLENTLY ILL FROM THEIR DIRTY GERM RIDDLED FOOD VISITORS BEWARE GO TO CLEAN LOCAL CAFE...

Pretty average tasting Coffee from this chain. You can definitely find better coffee in the many restaurants around town.
