I checked couple of lottery tickets here and won $20 on each. The cashier that forgot to take his name asked me if I am buying anything I bought lotto max he cashed one ticked and returned other one saying he does not have $20 to pay me. Seriously!!! So he doesn’t have $20 bucks to cash out a lottery ticket. That’s a joke. He said he cash it if I buy more stuff. I understand if it was big amount makes sense but $20 bucks!!! I advised him if he doesn’t have $20 bucks in the store to pay out OLG customers then better close the store (sarcastic!!) I have been a regular customer at this location for 3 years and I have always received great services from all of their staff. As for the prices of some of the items, I do not disagree they might be above average. It is up to the individual customer whether to make a purchase or not. There are many alternatives in the area. This place is so inconsistent on what their policy is for making payments. For a $5-6 purchase, they might tell you that credit cards are fine, or sometimes that you have to use cash or debit. If you use debit they sometimes add a 25 cent charge without telling you and other times they won't.
