Really nice spot with pool tables and great pizza (the pic doesn’t do justice for the size of it). Drinks wise we only had pints so can’t comment on the cocktails. Staff were lovely and there was table service for the majority of the night. When that ended they came around and let us know. Definitely worth a visit. Only problem is there’s only one ladies loo so the queue can be a bit long at times.

The place is more on the industrial side and the staff are friendly. They serve cocktails among other drinks and they taste great. I can recommend the Devil's Reject cocktail. Aside from it tasting great, it is served with a flair (there's a pun here somewhere). Aston Quay cocktail is also great for sipping by the window overlooking the (ba-dum-tss) Aston Quay.

A cool spot if you want something that isn’t a pub. We were on the hunt to find a place that had a free table and had cocktails and this was a nice find. The cocktails were all good and the service is good. I would recommend going in peak hours since the vibe is really good, from good music and attentive staff. Also this place serves cheaper food than others.

Horrible service in this pub. My bf, a friend and myself arrived here last night looking for food and drinks. The hostess welcomed us very nicely and gave us advice about what we could eat. After ordering food she never came back to us to ask what we wanted for drinks. She was busy messing with some guys at the pool table and they were ordering drinks from the manager at the bar. My friend went over to the hostess and asked her for shots as well as if we could change to a different table. We felt uncomfortable with the guys at the pool, they kept making weird noises. Anyways we change sits and got a lovely pizza. As we ordered shots obviously we finished them before eating the pizza. While eating/finishing the pizza none of the staff came over to ask if we were ok, if we needed more drinks and/or the bill...

When we finished the pizza, we wanted to leave. We tried to get the attention of staff several times and after 20 minutes we decided to approach the bar to pay our bill and leave. While the bartender was preparing our bill, the manager came over and ask us WHY WE WERE THERE? In a very rude way. The manager never spoke first to the bartender to see what we needed. My friend said that we wanted to pay the bill. He commanded us to go back to our sits and that he'll bring the over.

He brought the bill, I told him that it was VERY RUDE the way he spoke to us and that he could have asked us in a nicer manner if we were ok or the bartender, the reason that we approach the bar was because none of the floor staff were doing their jobs correctly. He started giving out to us saying that we couldn't be at the bar due to covid19 restrictions and that everyone in Ireland knew that, kinda telling us that we were stupid if we didn't know.... I told him that I actually didn't know exactly which health procedures all the pubs had and it was his job to make sure that staff are trained correctly and that customers aren't waiting at their tables for prolonged periods with not service, if it was unacceptable for customers to be waiting that long for help and also for management to speak in that manner. The bar was half empty with clear breaches of Covid19 constantly happening as I'm sure the CCTV will show, especially around the pool table. The manager should be more concerned with this over customers trying to pay their bill at the bar due to no table service. I rather to go to a pub with average food but outstanding service than...

I was drinking in the bar the keg ran dry and I patiently waited, told the bar staff to take as long as they needed to change it, a different barman came back and tried to hand me a glass of foam and slop that was left in the lines, I asked him if I could have a fresh one once the keg is changed. Then out of nowhere I was handed half the money I had paid and security dragged me out of the pub. When I asked what had gone on they demanded I leave and told me I was not getting a refund. I stayed and spoke to the manager and he refunded me after some arguing but refused to explain why I was tossed out. The security were extremely abusive given the fact that I was willing to wait for my keg to be changed. Avoid this absolute dump

The bald security guard was the problem, the manager was happy to deal with the situation and refund me but didn't give a shit that I was tossed out for no reason and just let the bald security...

I've liked this bar since it opened and go fairly regularly. The staff are great, always friendly and really help the place to have a brilliant atmosphere. The music is also brilliant, not sure who makes the playlists but they're very good at it, especially on Friday and Saturday nights when it goes quite 80s/90s. My only downside is the toilet situation, they recently got a toilet guy downstairs and closed off the men's toilet upstairs. It's all a bit awkward as the toilet is small so it's often just you and the toilet guy alone. There's still a women's toilet upstairs, last time I was there I saw men using that one, might not be a bad idea.

Edit: They've now opened a bar next door called O Malleys which is also really good, unfortunately it shares the toilets with Riot so you still have the awkward...
