A Perfect Sunset Excursion – Worth a Trip to Cabo All on Its Own!

Our 4-hour sunset yacht cruise with Seashine Adventures was hands-down the highlight of our trip to Cabo—so good, I’d go back just to do it again with this crew.

We booked this experience very last-minute after a cyclone forced us to cancel another yacht reservation. Seashine was incredibly gracious in accommodating us. From the moment we stepped on board, we were blown away by the beauty of the yacht, the attentiveness of the crew, and the overall experience.

The boat itself was pristine and spacious—two bedrooms and two bathrooms, each with queen beds (which we didn’t use, but were great to have just in case someone got seasick). We started inside the cabin with cocktails, then made our way to the front deck as the captain took us toward the iconic Cabo arches for incredible photos. The crew actually came out to help us get the best shots, which we truly appreciated.

The food? Phenomenal. Steak skewers, chicken fajitas, shrimp ceviche—and I’m not exaggerating when I say this: the food on that yacht was ten times better than what we had at our four-star all-inclusive resort. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. There was also an open bar with tequila, rum, vodka, water, juice—you name it. Anything we wanted, they had it ready.

After sightseeing, we anchored in the Sea of Cortez, rolled out a lily pad, and swam for nearly two hours. It was joyful and peaceful all at once. I did get a mild jellyfish sting just as I was heading back to the boat—but before I could even say anything, the captain already had a salve and cream ready for me. That level of attentiveness blew me away.

Throughout the entire experience, the crew was professional, kind, funny, and incredibly accommodating. They checked in frequently—especially with one member of our group who was feeling motion sick—and even offered to move the boat to calmer waters if needed. They also let us blast our own music on the way back, dancing and laughing the whole way. At one point, the song “Blow the Whistle” came on, and the captain ran upstairs with a whistle to join us. It was hilarious and joyful—but still professional and respectful throughout.

As the only Spanish speaker in our group, I got to chat more deeply with the staff, and I just can’t say enough about how kind and thoughtful they were. Every moment of the journey felt curated, responsive, and full of heart.

If you’re in Cabo, do not skip this experience. Even if I don’t return to Cabo for anything else, I’d come back just to sail with this team again.

Amazing all around! I first emailed them about two weeks before the day that I wanted to rent one of their boats. About 30 minutes after I put in the request I got a VERY detailed email about everything I can expect, pricing, food, alcohol. Pretty much every question I had was answered in the first email. They were extremely communicative with me and made me feel so secure that this was A good company to book with. In the first email they asked if we were celebrating anything and I told them it was a bachelorette. They ended up including a bunch of bachelorette themed things for free and it was amazing that we didn’t have to worry about decorations or anything like that for the boat. They also put me in contact with a reputable transportation company, and made sure that everything lined up timing wise for me. Two days before my scheduled day, I had to change the timing by about an hour. I was worried they wouldn’t be able to accommodate, but they emailed me back so quickly saying not to worry and they would accommodate us in anyway they can. I also changed the number of people that were coming three times! Again, they were very respectful, very communicative. The day of the boat ride was absolutely amazing. The crew on board was so kind, so fun, and got us anything that we needed. They were joking around with us and were waiting on us with anything we needed. The food was incredible, and the drinks were even better! I highly recommend Seashine Adventures and would love to book with them again in the future! 10/10...

Amazing company to go through!! We booked a 3 hour yacht cruise for a group of 8 and it was the best experience ever. If we could've had more time on it we would pay it without a doubt. The service from the moment of booking was great. They had so much communication with us through email answering any question we had. They would reply within minutes. Yacht was clean The crew was so great. From the moment they saw our drinks getting low they would take it out of our hands and put another one in it. Without us ever having to ask. Never ran out of beer. They had a big white cooler FULL of COLD beer. The chefs food was DELICIOUS! We had shrimp ceviche and steak tacos. Highly highly recommend!! We asked them to provide tostadas avocado and tapatio for our ceviche and they had no problem accomodating us. The sound system was great. We linked up to it and had our own music playing the whole time. There was a birthday banner and cake provided for our birthday boy also. It was everything we imagined and more....
