Oakley offers great glasses with sleek designs and quality materials, no doubt about that. The staff at the stores are friendly and eager to assist, which is always appreciated. However, my recent experience with Oakley left much to be desired.
We decided to order a customized pair of glasses, which was promised to be delivered to our home. Unfortunately, when the parcel arrived after a week, it contained the wrong lenses – the cheapest and lowest-quality option, not the advanced ones we had ordered and paid for.
What ensued was a frustrating ordeal with customer service. There were endless excuses, with no one taking responsibility for the mistake. The blame game between the store and the assembly facility in Italy only added to the confusion. It's disheartening to see such lack of accountability.
The assistant at the store convinced us to place the order in-person rather than online, but it seems there are no quality checks in place before shipping the final product to the customer. This raises questions about the integrity of the process – was the lens mix-up accidental or intentional?
Mistakes happen, but it's how a business responds that truly matters. Unfortunately, Oakley fell short in this regard. A sincere apology, swift resolution, or even acknowledgment of the issue would have been appreciated. Instead, we were left to navigate through a maze of excuses and frustrations.

The staff did offer me a 25% discount on a new pair, which was appreciated, but it felt like an unnecessary expense since I only needed a small replacement part. They did have the same sunglasses in stock and could provide black legs, but my original pair was blue, so that wasn’t an ideal solution.
