I tried a Dharma class here with Emy: I was blown away by how amazing it felt!!! I swear the best yoga class I did in my entire life!!! The level of stretch for the whole body has no equal in her class, and she makes you work hard in challenging asanas according to your level, with truly priceless guidance and support, to make you achieve the unimaginable thanks to her help. I did with her help an asana that I thought my body type with shortish arms could not do, I tried other asanas for the first time, I discovered muscles to activate in reverse poses that I had no idea I had to engage, I was helped to stretch my higher spine that is tighter than the lower segment, I tried prompts that I neither knew existed. Plus the atmosphere was so calm and loving from the start with Emy’s music, that I could dedicate the practice to the forgiveness by God of the people who caused me damage in life, which is not normally something I have enough love in me to do, but I think Emy’s elevated my soul at higher frequencies and capabilities thanks to her music and teaching, so I could. It was a blessing to take her class, she’s an angel in the way she helps all to progress, with so much dedication, expertise and intelligence, truly knowing how to push all to the next level, asana to asana. Thanks Light Centre for choosing so amazing teachers...
Read moreI've been going to physio for pelvic pain for 1 year in New York and booked an appointment to handle a flare up. The physio did not properly examine me to determine where the pain was coming from, and during the session my pain got worse. I had vocalized this, but the physio was unconcerned. The next day, my pain had quadrupled - it felt the first time I ever had the pain as though all the treatment I had done for the last year had gone down the drain. I called and emailed to ask to speak with someone about how to manage or reduce this pain, and received no response for 4 days. Then only when I asked to cancel my future appointments did the physio write back to merely say that the physio should not have caused me pain and that I should go to a GP because it must be something else!
I think we all know that chronic pain can be aggravated by improper treatment. I did not just put of the blue, when I did nothing other than see a new physio, have a horrible flare up. Stay away from this business at all costs - they are not here...
Read moreThe actual physio sessions for my wife were fine, but I had a terrible experience dealing with them over the phone.
We have received an invoce which listed the sessions and payments from the insurance company. For some reason, few of the payments from the insurance company were missing. I tried to ask the lady over the phone why the records do not match. I suggested we could discuss this in person but the lady whom I talked to refused it and insisted on solving it via phone. The lady was quite rude, she would yell at me, interrupt me in the middle of a sentence and eventually mocking me if I know what the word "excess" means. Eventually, she sent another invoice where all the payments were listed. I feel I was not treated with respect and we decided not to use their services any more.
I'd like to follow up on this: Their manager called me, apologized and promised to investigate this. I do...
