I went there to get pictures made for my mom's Celebration of Life that was coming up! My brother recommend them as the place I should go; so I did. Well I got there at about 10p.m which was late. However, they don't close until Midnight! I didn't expect to get them that night kinda figured it would be the next day sometime, and they would contact me when they were ready! I'll get back to that in a minute. I really hadn't had much experience with navigating there software to get the pics from my phone! I had a lot of difficulty tying to get it figured out! I was not happy, and getting very frustrated, and not one, single, solitary person on duty that night working offered any assistance. Moving forward its basically time for them to be closing for the night, and they seemed to be very agitated that me and a few other people were still there in the store. They weren't friendly at all, and they basically stopped facing us with their arms crossed and a scowl on their faces! I know that we all like to be done and off work at our jobs right on time too, but unfortunately that doesn't mean it's going to happen. When you are in customer service you still need to be friendly and smile when you're talking care of the customer! That person should never know that you are mad. There's time after they are gone to be mad ect.. sorry for the book, but it's how I feel! Lastly, my pictures weren't ready the next evening in fact I believe it wasn't even the day after that either! I ended up having to go to another place to get them; Which by the way was the very next day after I ordered them, and I even had to specialty pictures custom made too! You guys had no record of my order when I called or went online to track them down! Then one day I get an email after I already paid for the service elsewhere saying order was ready. I went and picked them up which once again there was no help In that department nor none offered either! I literally had to go find someone who was working to help me. He was nice but couldn't at first find it. Then once I had them they weren't even a quality that was expected. Very dissatisfied and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT BUY PLANTS FROM HERE. DUDEā¦. I have NEVER seen a plant so infested w/ spider mites in my entire life before. This is any plant collectors worst nightmare. Idk how this has been able to sit here like this w/out anyone knowing or noticing that itās covered in pests⦠I told one of the employees when I was checking out & showed him a photo & his response was āokay and?ā ⦠I understand the hate most of us arenāt paid enough to care about our jobs. Thatās totally fine. God knows I hate mine. But likeā¦. Selling products that are infested w/ pests, especially for full price is insane. Not to mention Meijer throws enough plants out as is⦠ones that are maybe a little beat up.. but otherwise fine (since they rarely ever have discounts or clearance them out) so idkā¦. I just donāt understand how you can have this plant FOR SALE sitting in the middle of a bunch of other plants that are FOR SALE & not feel any kind of way about selling someone a product that is going to infest their home w/ a disgusting pest that is incredibly hard to get rid of.
As you can probably tell Iām a plant person.. I never buy plants from big box stores for this very reason & I just happened to walk past & noticed it out of the corner of my eye⦠but this is why if youāre buying plants from BBS, you need to quarantine them & preemptively treat them for pests bc normally these mites are microscopicā¦. By the time you notice spider mites you already have a huge, active infestationā¦. So yeah. Donāt buy plants from stores like this bc youāre paying for a chore or for your collection to be damaged or ruined. Buy from local, small sellers or online. These huge corporations donāt care about you, they just want your money. & the employees arenāt paid enough to care (fair) so yeah. Donāt...

I drove to this meijer in record time from where I live because I needed 1 item to complete a task I was working on at home. I arrived at 11:55pm, walked up to the door, intending to go get the item I needed. I was stopped by a rather large, gray-haired, old man who was standing by the door. He said to me "we're closed" in a rather shrewd manner, at which time I told him that I only needed 1 item, knew exactly where it was and it would only take a minute. Besides, I saw patrons still in the store shopping and checking out. He again, in an uncalled for, shrewd manner, said to me; "No, we're closed." So, not wanting to create a scene, I reluctantly left. I am pretty disappointed that I wasn't allowed to go get the 1 item I needed 5 minutes before the store was "supposed" to close. Maybe you shouldn't advertise a "closed" time if you stop allowing customers to come inside 30 min before that time. I know I'm not the only person who looks up your hours of operation late in the evening and sees that you're open and tries to make it before that time to get that 1 much needed item. A long time ago, the doors at places like this would stay open until the stated closing time just for people in situations like the one I...
