I took my daughter as I haven't been since the covid-19. As the cash register person knew my daughter wanted steak 🥩 and failed to tell me they don't serve steak on buffet until 4p until I went up to ask for a steak to the grill guy in the buffet area as the lady manager was right there and she is the one that told me even seen my 6year old sad face cause she loves steak. I asked if I may purchase a steak for her I was told NO they won't let me cook them until 4p even though there was steak in the grill at 3:15pm cooking she said those was orders and pick up orders. I asked again may I purchased a steak meal as I was told sorry no, I even asked if I could do the mobile app and pick it up as I was told no. As my daughter waited until the steaks was on and ready after 4pm and they denied to serve her a steak the fact we paid for a lunch buffet not dinner. I kept my 😎 but I will NOT be back to this one as I'll travel miles &hours before returning here. As kitch buffet staff the ones who prepare and stock refill etc. was very rude and not wanting to refill mash potatoes,or fries, or pizza was not even fully cooked couldn't get it off the buffet tray plate where dough was still stinking to the pizza tray, back cheese was like yellow water, only plus was the bakery those ladies was on it but as they should take cake or whatever they need to refill out of the cold temperature let it set before putting out to be served as my carrot cake chocolate cake red velvet as little it was dry and so cold like it was freshly out of the fridge or freezer. The HOT buffet crew acted like they hated their job and was miserable. As other customers and staff was just cutting my daughter not caring as one lady literally seen I was about to get a scoop mash potatoes for my daughter as the pan was literally a scoop left she cut in front and grabbed the spoon too the last scoop from a child so sad so rude. As my daughter had to wait for the pan to be refilled. Our waitress was amazing and the was the only positive experience we had was her, she stayed up on it. I recommend travel to another Golden Corral...
Read morePlace is disgusting. Proper food handling is a distant dream. For example, Wrapped silverware still had food on it, *cups still dirty or old cracked and broken when you come in to get your drink, *carpet has a distinctive oder to it you can smell when walking into the door, *buffet lines are dirty with food dryed onto it. *Tables were cleaned off where we sat, but that is why we sat there. *Don't even get me started on the bathroom that seemed to not have been cleaned all day. Let's just say it seems the clientele has issues resulting from explosiveness, and they don't clean up after themselves, and this place seems to practice the eventually the water will eroded it off policy.
Now, if you're still considering the "GOLDEN ORRAL" for your next family outing, I would like to remind you that quality doesn't get better with quantity. The food here is made haphazardly. The best thing I found to eat was the brown gravy that comes from a can and the ice cream.
Not worth almost $20 per person to gorge on sub-par food that isn't safe to eat since no one was checking temperatures and new buffet items were being combined with the same item that was already on the line. A clear violation as you are never to mix pans of food even if they are the same thing.
They both have two different current temperatures and have been out for completely different amounts of time, allowing for food contamination to happen now faster with the new food. Also, it didn't seem to matter that other food had fallen into another when they mixed it together. Maintaining quality here does not seem to be a high priority. We have been reminded of why we never go to...
