Truly truly disappointed with this place now. Since they’ve opened we have been loyal to this place, FOR YEARS we’ve been coming here! even driving 20 minutes passing several other Mexican restaurants just to go to our favorite (here) but this place is no longer my favorite and we will NOT return! I was treated terribly by the MANAGER who for years has seemed to always have a stank look at us with hate! ONLY HIM! I’m not sure of his problem but he has never liked us and I’m not sure why! I brush it off and still give the business because we never have to deal with him anyway. we love most of the servers and they love us and our kids! All of the servers have been amazing to us, to where we would consider ourselves regulars. But tonight changed my mind when our take out order was wrong and the manager acted like he could careless and that I was being a problem by letting them know they messed up one order and charged us for a whole other plate we didn’t even ask for! I work in customer service (food specifically) & I would never treat someone like they’re dumb, or can’t understand as I was treated tonight. All I asked for was a for a refund of THEIR mistake of an extra plate. And they made my sons plate wrong and charged us wrong and we’ve gotten him the same thing as always (a side of carne asada only carne no rice no beans etc) I wondered why my total was much more expensive than if we would’ve dined in and had drinks like we usually do! But he was telling me that I asked for the wrong thing when we have asked for this item for years and never have ever had trouble! Apparently you can’t ask for a side of carne asada you have to ask for A SIDE OF STEAK STRIPS! SMH! He said did he even check the bill before he left? I said we haven’t left he just walked out. I asked him if he was okay because he was talking to me in such a rude and hateful way and I was so confused I wasn’t being rude or mean I just wanted the correction and the right plate. he scoffed & said “he’s only been working for 2 days so a lot of things are going on and he is just trying” I said I completely understand we all start somewhere! I wasn’t mad that they got a couple things wrong, I was mad by the reaction of their mistake towards me! He was so mad he had to refund me and you could see it and hear it he treated me so low! Circling stuff on the receipt and saying “is this right is this right so what’s wrong with this you didn’t ask for the right stuff” And I was still so considerate! I even said thank you once he handed me the correct meal, and couldn’t even get a sorry about that have a good night NOTHING! Just a “here” and handed me my food. But some family walked in and they get a “hey guys how’s everyone tonight?!” Like seriously? I even go out of my way to recommend this place to family, friends, as I mentioned we drive out of our town to come here. But not anymore! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 I would understand if I was a bad person or a bad family, or if we always caused trouble and always complaining or always needing a refund THIS IS LITERALLY OUR FIRST TIME EVER! we have been so good to this place and even my family has! TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS BETTER! I also seen in the reviews someone had a similar experience to mine a year ago! HA! DO BETTER! It’s the manager that usually wears the purple shirt with glasses, older guy! Hope you have a better day sir! Don’t take your bad energy off on...
Read moreI was very excited about trying the new Grill in town so my friend placed an order and was told to pick it up in 20 mins. 20 mins would place us there at 10:40. The restaurant closed at 11:00p. I walked in the door at 10:44 and spotted my food on the table waiting to be picked up . The waiter looked at me and said what!? I replied by saying I’m here to pick up my order. The waiter said to me we are closed we close at 11:00 you were supposed to be here within 15 minutes like the host told you to be!
I was baffled by the way this guy proceeded to talk to me . Another waiter walked up and said this is her order right here he passed it to the disturbed guy and he asked me if I wanted it or not!!! I was so confused on the way I was being talked to that I told him I would go get my friend that placed the order from outside. As I was walking out he shouted and said byeeee!! By this time it was 10:48 and I’m very upset and confused as to why I’m being treated this way. There were still customers in the restaurant so it was not the fact of me being the last one there. At 10:44 when I walked in yand they closed at 11. I brought my friend back into the store and the whole tone of this mans voice changed!!! This waiter treated her with way more respect than he had shown me with the last 5 mins shouting. No problem at all. At that very moment I felt so disrespected and discriminated against like I never had in my life. The fact that I am a African American woman and my friend is a Caucasian woman made a difference? I knew there was a problem because I know I said absolutely nothing to give him to tell her that I came in the restaurant with an attitude. Prior to getting out of my car I had the best day ever to after this encounter my night was ruined because I couldn’t think of anything else but the lie and actions of this waiter. My feelings were hurt. Never again will I ever return! Praying...
Read moreNice restaurant. Seemed clean. The service was terrible though. A few items we asked for when ordering was not delivered Later, the waiter acknowledged the items not delivered. We told him not to worry about it and not to bring them as we were almost done with our average, run off the mill, mexican entrees. Instead, we asked for a box and our bill. After waiting several minutes we recurved our box and our bill, which included the items we never received. We were now waiting again for our waiter to come back to resolve the issue. We waited so long that we were forced to ask someone else for help. We never seen the waiter again. The issue was resolved through management. It's only fair to add that this was New Years Eve and while the place wasn't really busy, they did seem short staffed. This was our first time to...
