I was going to post this days ago but wanted to give the store the benefit of the doubt and an opportunity to solve my issue. I placed an order for two shirts at the Harbor East location that I had shipped to my office (because living in a city row home, I never get things shipped home when I won't be around to receive them). Neither items turned up. I have been into the branch to try and get a resolution and have called three separate times. When I called during lunch yesterday, I was disconnected from the call three times (literally). Then I was told that someone would follow up with me at 6pm. I called there when I heard nothing at 6pm and have been told they are working on a resolution/investigation. I am genuinely out of patience at this point and completely aggravated by this store's handling of this situation. I have little faith that I will receive the items or a refund at this point. Not only am I out of money, and without my items, I'm extremely annoyed by the disrespect and run-around.
UPDATE - I complained to the region and within hours new items were being shipped to the store. They were professional. Strangely, I then received my packages and called them back to let them know that there was no need to send more items to the store. The store...
Read moreBeen hit or miss lately. South Moon has been my favorite store for almost a decade but it feels like the quality of the clothing has gone downhill (but the prices haven’t) and im noticing (now that I’ve gained a little weight going from a medium to a large) that the majority of their tops don’t fit a DD and bottoms above a 28 are few and far between. I also just went shopping before a vacation and spent hundreds of dollars on items they left the security tags on. Didn’t realize until I was halfway across the world and had to buy more clothes on the trip to have something to wear. However the staff are always so friendly and helpful, I hope they improve the clothing back to how it used to be and get with the times celebrating...
Read moreI was about to purchase two tops when I overheard a staff member having a conversation with someone from the store across the street. They were mocking the girl’s sister for being overweight by openly laughing, calling her fat, and claiming she got fired from her job for “eating too many cookies.” The fatphobia was appalling. I put the tops back and walked out. Shame on you. Your store might sell cute clothes, but clearly some of the staff lacks basic human decency. Instead of judgement, maybe try compassion and ask if the sister is okay. I won’t be back, and I hope others take their business somewhere that...
