I visit this store frequently, last week AliReza and Kathy were very helpful and courteous. Generally the customer service is good at this store. However, it was an interesting experience this evening. I was looking at a large planter by the entrance, I stepped on the rug that was laid out right at the entrance along with a large door mat. A worker yelled in a loud voice, “sir can you please get off the rug” I immediately stepped off to the side and said “ I am sorry I did not see the rug” she replied, “yes you did not see a giant rug” in a very condescending and rude manner. Her response felt very hurtful and strange but I ignored it. Couple of ladies (customers) heard this and looked at me in shock and said “she is very rude you should complain to the manger” as I saw these ladies again inside the store they insisted that I should talk to the manager, when I said, maybe she is having a tough day or maybe she is not paid well. To this they replied, but that’s not the reason to treat people inhumanely. Anyway, I stepped out of the store and then it occurred to me that by reporting this incident to the store manager I might help spare others from this lady’s rude behavior. I went back in and asked for the manager, it turned out that ‘Marlene’ is one of the managers of the store. Read moreI'm giving it a 3 because of Angela who assisted me today ( otherwise it'd be lower). She was very helpful and friendly and the store itself has a lot to offer. However, when I went to the register Carol was there She was very short and quite rude from the get go- ignoring me in the beginning even though her light was on. When I was about to go to another register she said no, I can help you. The item I had did not have a price sticker. She didn't listen to me and completely disregarded me as to where Angela had put the price of the item I was purchasing due to it being a return. She said she saw the price but needed to go check another similar item to put in into the register. I asked her if we could get the person who had helped me (she seemed to know whom I was talking about in the beginning). She ignored me and
went back to the rugs with the price gun. When she came back she quoted me $10 higher. She said she had no idea who helped me- like I was lying! I found Angela who came over and fixed the problem.
