I loved everything in the shop. I was curious about one of the works of art and asked the cashier. She was very snappy and condescending. She treated me as if I was ignorant. Was not pleased with her at all. She also had another employee follow my friends and I around like we were stealing. I would have bought something if not for her attitude. Some retraining in costumer service may be in order for the future of your costumers and your local artist trying to sell their goods in your establishment. Nasty attitudes can change a costumers mind as to where they spend their money.
I was playing some classical violin music in front of this shop. The owner decided he didn't want me there so instead of asking me to move he called the police. I wonder why he didn't just ask me. I have played before in Black Mountain and never has a problem. The police officer said two businesses had complained, europa and seven sisters gallary. I continued to play down the street and was finallyable to play without prblems. I talked with many people walking by and multiple people stopped to thank me. The lady on duty with “owner” on her name tag must have been having a bad day, hardly looked at us as we entered and said hello. Unwilling but forced to help us when we had questions about an expensive item we were interested in. Quite an ordeal to unlock the case and knew nothing about the product.
