Emerson Emporium — Local services in Boston

In hopes to save someone else the trouble I placed an order for 3 books from this store. Later, I receieved an email saying the store had a glitch and that I would have to re-do my order. Two days later I recieve ANOTHER email saying that my order had shipped. After checking my bank account I was charged an additional $80 because they replaced my "used" purchase with new ones. When I called the book store I was told that this was listed under the terms and conditions and that the only thing they would do for me is cancel my order. When I asked to speak to someone else I was told no. When I asked for any customer service I was told no. Finally, when I continued to press I was told that my order was cancelled against my wishes. I am currently still trying to call and the "manager" is refusing my call. I will NEVER use this...

This is a typical college bookstore. There are tons of required books laid out very well so they can be found. There are also several promotional and branded items for the school. While this was a little darker than most Barnes and Nobles I've been to, that's probably because this one is in a city and was the within the school campus. I will definitely come back here when my daughter becomes a student...

Wasted a trip. Look like a normal Barnes & Noble retail location when I was searching online...
