What a lovely store and an even more lovely family! I met the owner, Kathy while visiting the shops in Charlotte Amalie. What a wonderful experience for us! Kathy is so welcoming and attentive. She shared the stories of the artists and pieces she carried, many of them local artists and part of the Fair Trade Act. Everything in her store was unique - we returned several times to purchase additional items as everything was so beautiful and thoughtful. Kathy gave us several recommendations of things to do and places to eat while we were there. We even met her husband and daughter while in the store. You don't see this kind of hospitality anymore. My husband and I stumbled upon this store while visiting St. Thomas and I'm so glad we did! While Josh and Kathy, the owner talked I shopped and had the BEST time!! Among other things, we bought a hand painted ornament that is now front and center on our Christmas tree and a beautiful octopus made from Capiz shell that is hanging where I can see him everyday. I rarely recommend a specific place, but these owners were really special. On a trip with 17 friends to celebrate the life of our friend who we lost suddenly and quickly to pancreatic cancer. Her husband used their vacation points to sponsor this trip as a thank you for being his support through these tough times. When these owners heard this story they were literally brought to tears. They gifted a personalized piece to my friend in honor of his wife and crafted beautiful personalized ornamemts for the rest of us. They support local artists and fair trade items. Great people....
