Renaissance Jewelers – St. Thomas USVI, Dronningens Gade Street, AKA Main Street. Awesome place with great customer service and prices. Our family stopped in during a cruise stop because my older son was looking for a nice watch. He narrowed it down to a few and got prices, no pressure, but wanted to check out other stores as well. Unlike jewelry, watches tend to be pretty much the same within a particular brand so it was not difficult to see that what he originally picked out at Renaissance was the style he liked at the best price. All other stores quoted higher prices for the exact watch, with a little more sales pressure, and then the price goes down slightly when you start to leave. This was not the case with Renaissance, so we went back to purchase the watch. During the fitting, my wife notices a beautiful set of earring that was set in silver and she was looking for a gold setting. They said it would take about an hour to make it in gold. Really, who does that? We purchased both and said our goodbyes and off we went happy with the purchase and service. However, the service only gets better. We took an excursion from the cruise ship pier that was due to return just as the ship was scheduled to sail. I kept looking at my son’s watch and thought, wow nice, I should have gotten one. On a whim, I call Adrian, and he knew exactly who I was and which watch I wanted. I could not make it to the store and asked if he could meet me at the pier. Traffic around a pier is a mess when a ship is in, so no guarantee, but he said he would try to get there. Sure enough, as we were going to the ship, with not much time to waste, he arrived with the watch and we went into his other store to make the purchase and get it fitted. It is amazing he made it through the traffic and I really appreciated the effort just based on a phone call and not knowing if we would even connect. With several hours until our flight, my husband and I landed on checking out downtown St Thomas. A friend of mine that lives there said that the owners were very good friends of hers and would probably let us keep our luggage there for a few hours while we walked around downtown and killed some time. So we did just that. The place and Dragan were very welcoming, gave us beverages and said we could keep our things there as long as we needed. After a bit of genuine small talk, I inquired about a wedding band. Something we had been looking at in the states but hadn't bought yet.

Dragan showed us several different options with the 'why' behind each one. We found one that was perfect and could absolutely not have asked for a better price! He also then showed me a tennis bracelet that had enough links to double into a pendant necklace with some of the extra leftover diamonds from my little wrists. Again the price was right. We went and had lunch while they prepared the items.
