$10k in 3 weeks and multiple returns to the shop in a 4 week timeframe. Coolant system replacement and water pump replacement.
Imagine your car being kept in the garage for 3 out of 4 weeks and this is partly due to mistakes made by the garage and forced to stop your vehicle back off.
It has been a complete and utter disaster. They have held our vehicle for approximately 3 weeks out of 4 and each time they have had our Range Rover it has came back in worse condition than we dropped it off in. Today we picked it up after a water pump replacement which they had the vehicle since previous Wednesday evening which we won’t count but after multiple issues getting our part, then paying $300 xtra dollars to expedite the part after them already holding the vehicle through Monday, we drive the car home only for the coolant light to come on again and then to see the coolant completely and I mean completely spilling onto our driveway and the coolant reservoir completely empty. This is after we already paid over $6000 for new coolant system for a vehicle with just over 60k mileage barely 2 weeks prior. We have now taken video of what has taken place just today after coughing up another $1300 on top of the $6k just 2 1/2 weeks ago. My wife has been in tears multiple times. We were told by another Woodie’s location in University that this location and mechanic is the Range Rover expert. Absolutely not. Obviously we were charged for towing and labor that should absolutely be refunded and we should receive a complimentary rental car until this location makes this situation right. A complete and total nightmare. If I could post the video I would because you wouldn’t believe it. The car engine could have suffered irreparable damage with how quickly the coolant drained today. They promise to make it right. We’ll know if that’s true tomorrow. They’ve already told us multiple times they’d fix their previous mistakes and each time our Rover has came back worse...

Extremely disappointed with the experience at Woodie’s Midtown. I brought my car in after being told over the phone the repair would cost “22.” That figure was repeated multiple times, maybe assuming they meant $220, and no one ever clarified it actually meant $2,247. At no point was I given a written estimate or breakdown before the work began.
When I expressed concerns about the several miscommunications, I was met with complete disrespect and no accountability. The store manager, Rodney, was unprofessional, dismissive, and condescending on the phone. Rather than trying to understand the miscommunication, he doubled down and tried to make it seem like it was my fault for misinterpreting their intentionally vague communications.
There was no transparency, no written confirmation, and no respect for the customer at any point in this process. Their handling of my complaint showed a total lack of integrity and accountability.
I would strongly advise others to avoid this shop unless you’re okay with unclear pricing, misleading communication, and unprofessional customer service.
UPDATE: Despite their public reply claiming they’d reach out to resolve the issue, I never received any follow-up communication from the business. This response appears to have been written simply for optics, not actual customer care. I remain extremely dissatisfied with how this situation...
Read moreUnfortunately not happy with this place, likely won't come back. Needed some brake work done and while I understand why they couldn't do the work (I couldn't afford to get my rotors replaced and they did not want to simply agree to replace the brake pads only, citing safety), they ended up charging me nearly $200 just for the diagnostic of my car, just the act of figuring out the problem.
Ive never even had a mechanic charge for diagnostic before, and they never informed me once of such a charge. I felt it was very dishonest. Everyone knows the way the business works is you get a quote and agree to maintenance or you come pick it up. Instead they snuck a charge in without ever notifying me it would occur, and held my car hostage until I paid it. I never once agreed to them doing any maintenance, and indeed they never did. We never discussed any prices.
I felt like I had been grifted, as I left this place having paid $200 to pick up a car that was in exactly the condition I brought it in, absolutely zero work done on it at all.
Sure, they made $200, but they lost all of the money from my future business.
EDIT: They replied and said they communicated the fee, they lied. They never did, and there is no record of my approval of it. They are...
