If anyone needs any help with Verizon Wireless or new cell phone y’all need to go to Best Buy in Colonial Heights Va and ask for Bri Mosby. We can assure you she will richly bless and take care of all of your needs and concerns just as she did for us. On the date of June 11,2025 we only went into the BestBuy in Colonial Heights store to look at the new iPhones and had no intention of buying anything. However at the Verizon counter we were so blessed to have Bri Mosby (the sweetest little Angel) wait on us and helped us out with many difficulties we've been experiencing with our Verizon Wireless account that we've been having major problems and difficulties with for several months. Which should never happen with loyal customers who have been with Verizon Wireless since 1996!! However I've had nothing but problems with them for several months. I've had to call the main office at least once or twice a month trying to get our bill and account fixed. I've spoken with countless representatives as well as supervisors who have not told the truth nor did they fix our account as promised each and every single time. We also went into the Main Verizon Wireless store in Colonial Heights and were treated absolutely horrible as well as once again not told the truth. We’ll never go back into that store again. We have been repeatedly given false information and lied to concerning how they were fixing the problems with our Verizon Account and putting my employees discount back onto our account! However Bri Mosby was absolutely awesome and such a blessing to finally have someone that knew her job and more than happy to help us out. She's the sweetest young lady who goes out of her way to treat her customers with overwhelming kindness, patient, helpfulness, understanding, and so knowledgeable about her job. She even apologized to us for the way we've been treated by all of the other Verizon Employees. She believes as we do that you treats others as you'd have them treat and hep you. She is the sweetest person and we were so blessed to have her help us out that day. She was so amazing that we actually purchased (2) iPhone 16 pro max, updated which we had no plans of doing so at all. She even went out of her way to program our new iPhones. Updated our old 4g plan to the 5g and was able to lower our bill on top of everything. She took so much time with us to make sure we were 100 % satisfied and made sure our account was fixed before we left. She even went the extra mile to make sure to have boxes sent out to our house to return our old iPhones in to Verizon Wireless for the trade in value. Then when we were having problems with our iPhones that we returned to get the trade in credit we went back to see her and once again she went out of her way to ensure that the problem is getting resolved. All we can say is WOW OHHHHHHHH WOW we just can't put into words just how grateful or how much we appreciated and continue to appreciate all of Bri's help and outstanding with every single thing she's gone over and beyond to ensure that we've been completely taking care of. with getting our account fixed. She definitely went over a beyond to ensure just doing her job and Best Buy and Verizon are extremely fortunate to have such a loyal, dedicated, supportive, knowledgeable and outstanding employee. Once again Bri Mosby is an amazing inspiration young woman that we were so blessed to have such a sweet little Angel help us out. that all of our problems and concerns were taken care of. Please ensure that Bri is awarded, and gets the recognition for all of her hard outstanding achievements and hard work. BestBuy is truly blessed to have such an amazing and incredible employee.    Read moreI’m sorry that this is going to be a long review. I am not going to lie, I have been a Bestbuy customer for years. I’ve always trusted them with most of my electronics but this is the worst store based on the experiences that I had with them.
So I purchased an Insignia TV Stand from this Bestbuy store. I brought it home and it took me about 1hr30min to put it together. Once I got to the last step, the top glass piece was broken. I called bestbuy and Insignia to have just that piece shipped out to me (because the product said it has a 1 year warranty on it). However, they said they had discontinued making the product so I would have to bring it back for a refund and so I did. I don’t really know what the warranty was for if they couldn’t do anything about it and I’m glad that this happened before the return policy is expired.
A week later I went into the store and purchased a refrigerator that was going to be delivered this Thursday April 5th. The delivery team came out and discovered that one leg of the fridge was broken, they would take it back, and have somebody call me before 5pm. I waited until 8pm and no call. So I ended up calling them, the phone hung up a couple times before I got a hold of somebody. The guy told me that I would have to come into the store and pick out a different item, and that they would offer a discount for the next purchase and escalate the delivery so I would have the fridge before my move in date.
So I went in Friday morning, right when they open and to pick out a different fridge. The sales lady said they would not do a discount on the new purchase, the discount would only imply if I decided to keep the damaged item “LIE”. So I asked her to go ask the manager about the matter. She came back and said he offers a 5% discount (better than nothing right?). So I picked out another model and did all the exchange process and left the store.
After, I left the store for about an hour, another salesperson called and told me that the refrigerator I picked out is not in stock and it won’t be delivered until a week later (5 days after my move in date). Why wouldn’t you check prior to placing the order knowing the circumstance that I was in? So she told me to pick out from 3 models that they have in stock. I didn’t like any of them, so I went in and asked for a refund. The salesperson showed me an open box that they had in store and promised to have it delivered by Sunday and that she can give me a further discount on in (this sales lady is the best out of everyone that I dealt with previously). So I decided to exchange for an open box. Luckily, they fitted me in for the next day delivery schedule.
The same delivery team came out and discovered that the waterline to the ice machine is damaged. So no ice for another week until they can get a repair guy to come out and replace the waterline. I called and asked to talk to the store manager on duty and they transferred me to a computer manager who asked me “what do you want us to do?” So I asked him what would you do? He said let him call different people and he’ll give me a call back.

At this point I was so done with them. I just wanted the fridge to be fixed and move on with my life.

I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience at the Colonial Heights location on December 24th. I purchased a Macy’s gift card only to discover later that the card had not been activated when I attempted to use it. This led to an unprofessional and distressing interaction with the store staff and management at Best Buy.
When I returned to the store to resolve the issue, the initial employee who assisted me, a young African American woman, assured me that the card had been activated. Despite her reassurance, she did not verify the activation status and seemed unsure. (She seemed to be a new employee).
When I sought help from another employee (A Caucasian woman with glasses), I was met with dismissal and unwillingness to assist. This associate insisted that the card had been activated and told me to handle the matter with Macy’s, despite my explanation that Macy’s had already confirmed otherwise. She was abrupt, unprofessional, and ultimately directed me to call corporate.
My mother entered the store to help me gain a resolution. She remained calm and professional as she explained the ordeal to the store manager, Jordan ( a young caucasian male ).
Jordan’s behavior toward my mother was deeply troubling. He looked at her with disdain and disgust, and it is reasonable to assume that we were racially profiled. Instead of addressing the issue or providing assistance, Jordan asked my mother to leave the store without any resolution. As two educated Black women, we were shocked and appalled by this treatment. (News flash, Jordan: not every person of color is a thief!)
Thankfully, when we visited another Best Buy location on Kroger Center Blvd, we were assisted by an exceptional manager named Warren. He listened to our concerns, apologized for the treatment we received at the Colonial Heights location, and resolved the issue by replacing the defective gift card.
While I am grateful for Warren’s professionalism, my experience at the Colonial Heights location was unacceptable. Jordan and his team failed to provide basic customer service and instead treated us with unprofessionalism and what felt like racial bias. I will never return to this location after my family and I have spent thousands of dollars here over the years.
