Target — Local services in Colonial Heights

Sign said $10 off on purchase of Downey Infusion fabric softener, Downy unstoppable booster beads and Downey Infusion fabric sheets all 3 together. It was right underneath the price tag section but when I got to the register it didn't count because it was on Bounce fabric sheets and regular large Downy and Downy infusion booster beads all 3 together. Shouldn't have all the $10 discount signs right next to the things you're buying but have it separate and designate. That's false advertisement. The very sweet worker that was straigthening the shelves of fabric softeners, pointed the discount out to me and she even said the same thing. I told her she should get a discount for making a sale and I was excited about buying all 3 and trying. The sweet cashier girl, tried to see if it was an error by checking the paper. That's where she saw what it was supposed to be for. She kindly called the manager looking guy over, who said he'd check with I guess his manger. He never came back so I told the cashier to not worry about it as people were behind me and returned the fabric sheets as I was just buying to get the discount. Oh well. Target is always wonderful, but felt they should have honored the discount as the sign was misleading even to the worker back there. ( I saw the manager looking guy on the way out. He was straightening the section of cheap things when you first come in and I persume forgot to ck back or ignored...

This is one of my favorite Target locations. The staff are very kind, everything is very well organized, and if you ever have an unusual situation, like if you need a lot of an unexpected item, or if you order something for pickup and it's something very fragile, I've noticed repeatedly that the staff take good care of their customers here and take extra care with your shopping before you can ask. If anything, they seem surprised when you thank them, like they're used to being yelled at for not doing even more, though the customer service is already so excellent. In particular, there are some splendid younger people working in Electronics and Toys who have given me fine advice on which gift is most popular or will suit a particular person best, and I am endlessly impressed with the effort in Children's Clothing, which may be the best-kept and organized department in town. There is also a lovely selection of seasonal decorations here and their school supply department is uncommonly good. Target doesn't necessarily beat the blue-and-yellow logo'd store next door on price, but for what a person's time is worth, being able to hear from a kind person on what you should buy, and not having to wait 45 minutes in line to check out? The slight difference is worth it, and also the children's clothing wears...

This store did not treat me like the other Target I went to. The manager would not make a special exception to exchange my x box controller that was maybe 20 days over the return date on the receipt. Then I went to the electronic department to buy another controller but there was no worker in site to help me. Luckily one of the pegs was not locked so I just slipped out the controller myself. Then I go to pay for it at self pay and press the help button and no one responds. I asked the workers that were ten feet away from me just chatting if someone was going to help me. I told her no one was in electronics and she did not apologize. Finally I pay for the controller. Then I get home and see the seal was already broken so the controller was most likely tampered with. Finally I set it up and immediately the controller was not functioning properly. One of the buttons was damaged and I could tell it had been tampered with. So my visit was a complete waste and no I have to go back. I have been a sales manager for years at Macy's and I have never treated a single customer the way they treated me. I am going to return the controller and ask for some sort of store credit for all the time and gas I wasted. This Target sucks and something should be done about it. I think next time I will go...
