This trip that I just had to the Easton location, on Morse Rd in Columbus, OH, was the worst experience I've ever had in any retail setting. I've worked in retail for close to 10 years and never seen or received such terrible customer service. Our group spent 2 and a half hours trying to get a pair of pants and shirt that matched every person in the group, for the grooms party. Between the lack of attention to detail, any attempt at expediting our process, terrible customer service, employees being rude and showing any lack of caring, management being nonexistent and acting as though it was our fault that we were in our situation, I would never recommend anyone go into this particular store and in general to Men's warehouse. We were left alone for hours while the several employees that were helping us walked around the store like they had no idea what was going on or just simply didn't care to help us. Multiple groups of people were helped that came in after us and were out before us. The person who I'm assuming was a manager was very rude and even told our groom, "Guess you're going to experience what it's like at Men's Warehouse on Saturday", then proceeded to basically leave us in wait without any help and go help other customers. Nobody was wearing any sort of name tag or even told us their names. They all acted as though we were an inconvenience to them for being there. The employees were more worried about laughing and having fun instead of taking care of the people that were in the store. We had a female employee catch attitude with us about not checking out with her because we were finally waiting to check out, and when we finally go to check out and tell her what we need she tells us she cannot do what we need so we would have to wait like we were before. The incompetent employee that rang us out and started our whole process 2 and a half hours earlier was then bragging to another employee about how many sales he was about to have, but couldn't even be bothered to say thank you for your business and patience through this whole time. If it wasn't for the fact that my best friend had to have us get the items there, I 100% would not have done business in this store and still will be making sure to turn away as much business to you as possible. If I could give this store and business lower than a 0 rating I absolutely would. I've never felt more disrespected in any sort of business and to have to spend as much money as I had to makes me even more angry that I had to experience this. It would make things better knowing that this review resulted in some level of compensation for our absolutely dreadful experience in your business! Hopefully this makes it to someone who cares more than the employees in this store, that I feel essentially stole money from me and my...
Read moreIt’s been a while since I’ve seen so much disrespect and such a condescending attitude. My mom and I went in to buy some dress shirts for my dad as a Christmas present. The associate that came up to us started off well enough. Asking about sizes, directing us to the location where that size was and telling us about the 3 for 99.99 deal. He also advised us on sleeve length, etc, mentioning his own size at a height of 5’9”. My mom just said sort of jokingly “oh he’s older and retired I don’t know if he needs 3 new shirts,” to which the associate replied “Well I guess maybe you need to think of something else,” and walked away. Slightly rude, but we were left to our devices so that was fine.
He decided to come back and check on us, and we asked if he had more regular fit instead of slim fit. He told us that the slim fit was more in style and he really couldn’t help us find a specific section of regular fits because they were just among the slim fits. Odd, but sure that’s fair if they’re all together. Left us alone again. We were able to find a regular fit among all the slim fits, although the sleeves were slightly shorter than we wanted, and placed it on a nearby table.
The next time he checked on us, he picked up the regular fit shirt, told us “You know this shirt’s sleeves are too short, right? Here let me find the right one for you,” and found a slim fit one with the right size. My mom commented that it was a slim fit, and the other had been a regular fit, asking if he was sure there weren’t any other regulars with that color. He laughed at her, and picked up the original regular fit shirt, with “Regular Fit” clearly written on the tag and the sticker. “No no, this is slim fit, I told you these are mostly slim fits.” “Yes but we managed to find a regular fit and are just looking for that since my husband is older.” “It’s still a slim fit.” “No really, it’s a regular fit.” And then my favorite line, “Yeah okay, sure ma’am, tell me more about my own merchandise.” At this point I was furious with him for treating my mom like a child, and had to take the shirt from him and point out the Regular Fit labels marked all over the shirt. Shock and awe. “Oh, wow there is a regular fit.”
I don’t remember if he fully apologized, so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he did. We left immediately after, went to Nordstrom and gladly paid a little more for some shirts. I’m sure the other associates are nice enough, and that it’s an overall alright Men’s Warehouse, but if I ever step foot into one again it’ll...
Read moreWe chose Men's Warehouse to handle our custom suits for our wedding since members of the wedding party were located in Illinois, Kentucky, North Carolina and Ohio. I spent numerous hours at the North Carolina location guaranteeing each member of the wedding party had a detailed description of requests. For example, we put $100 gift card to everyone's account to be applied towards the end balance and special linings picked out by my fiancé and I.
HOWEVER, the best man was suppose to have a flag lining in the inside of his suit due to being deployed with my fiancé. That was the one special request we had made and wanted to guarantee could be accomplished. It was a surprise to the best man and covered monetary wise by us.
The best man went to pick up the suit and the lining was incorrect. The lining inside was a silver paisley and not a flag lining. Our wedding is 09/18/2021 with limited time to spare to correct the problem. For over the last week, I am trying to rectify this situation before anyone else at Men's Warehouse is trying to fix the problem. The money was returned to the groomsmen, but it has nothing to do with the money. I would pay double; in order for the problem to be corrected due to the sentimental value.
I have been trying to have a lining sent to me in North Carolina and have his suit jacket shipped to me and have the lining replaced by a tailor. At my own cost, I have the burden to rectify this.
Right now, I called the Ohio Men's Warehouse to retrieve the order number for the best man and explained why I needed it. The lady put me on hold to ask Nick regarding my questions. She got back on the phone to tell me that Nick said a lining would not be shipped. Well Nick, I'm not working at your store level anymore since the order was messed up originating from your store. I don't care to know what Nick's thoughts are regarding my situation because I will die trying to fix this for the veterans in our wedding party. Unfortunately, this has escalated to a corporate level to have a resolution, if at all.
I am giving this Men's Warehouse one star due to the lady who answered the phone offered her complete sincerest to me and genuinely acted like she cared. Hopefully, that store has more...
