Located right on the waterfront, this spot offers some of the best views of the San Diego skyline. As soon as I stepped off the ferry, I was greeted by a picturesque scene of the city’s towering buildings reflecting off the calm waters of the bay. It’s a perfect place to take in the beauty of San Diego, especially during sunset when the sky is painted with vibrant colors.
The area around the ferry landing is charming and lively, with a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes. I enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the waterfront promenade, stopping to browse through some unique boutiques and grab a bite to eat. Read moreMy husband and I took the ferry to downtown for dinner in Little Italy last time we stayed on the island and it's fast, easy, and cheap. It runs like clockwork and is a great way to get back and forth if you don't need your car.
Also, there is a cute little shopping area with restaurants, coffee shops and dozens of little shops built up around the ferry landing. Parking in the attached lot is free for customer for up to 2-hours then you must pay to park. Pay booths are easy to find and all over.
