Love the store and the employees I'm there just about every day and very often multiple times a day. 2 stars to draw attention to a sad situation i saw today (christmas day). I've had unpleasant interacts with this man, Jim, from corporate before. The forst thing i saw as I walked in today was jim barking at a young J1 empolyee telling him wasn't allowed to get his water bottle and there's a water fountain right next to him and he had to "take a sip and get back to work." I understand wanting to keep productivity up, but the condescending tone was nothing more than demoralizing. This is a kid that's away from his family on christmas, not getting paid enough to be scrutinized like that. I watch the normal managers run a tight ship there every day and the employees are happy to work with them. This man needed to make sure his employees know they work FOR him. No one deserves to be talked to like that. I manage a business myself, and I know damn well I wouldn't work harder for a man who treated me as a lesser human. As I talked to others that work there about the situation, it was unanimous across the board that that's just how he acts. I watched him barking at another female employee purely for the sake of barking as i came back for the second time today to get something I had forgotten. I love Clark's as it is right downtown, easy to get to and the staff has done a good job of having most inventory that you will ever need. They are in the process of remodeling/adding an addition soon and will be adding a pharmacy. Crested Butte has been just WAITING for a pharmacy, no more one-hour roundtrips to Gunnison or begging a friend to pick up a prescription. Also, I would like to clarify that I give the staff FIVE stars as they are always friendly, helpful, and smiling. I love the staff at the deli counter (yes I eat too much fried-food) as they are always helpful and the sandwiches here are quite big and are a good deal. Also, they started carrying habaneros which makes the spice girl in me extremely happy. There are locals that have worked here for a long time and they are what makes this place great. The only reason I give Clark's 4 stars is due to the fact that the produce seems to have a lower shelf life than when I purchase from other areas. Something new they started doing (and that I love) is the recycled bag program. They have an area near the front where you can drop off or pick up reusable bags for free. For all of us, its a great way to recycle bags you no longer use and it's great for visitors that don't have any on-hand, or when us locals...

Visiting this Town from Tokyo/ Japan, Unfortunately pharmacy Here is like NO OPTION pharmacy💔 Went there september 29th 2021 to make an appointment for PCR Covid test for my flight boarding back to Tokyo on the 5th october, Since I cant get same day results, I ask if I could do the test on the 4th october which she accepted and charge my credit card, She gave me a little plastic cup to spit in & bring it with me on the schedule appointment day which is on the 4th of october 2021, Demn!
