A Daily Dose — Restaurant in Crested Butte

I was blown away by the customer service here! Not sure if was the owner or the manager, but, she was the sweetest - most accommodating - helpful person on earth.

The backstory is: I was sent in to get breakfast for our hungry family, with my 15 month old on my hip. The line moved quickly, which was great.

During the wait for our order, hungry child in tow, we were given the left overs of an over pour Purple Haze. HUGE hit with the baby, and the thought and kindness of sharing from the staff went a long way.

Then, there was a miscommunication with our order. I needed two breakfast burritos, however only one was on the order ticket. They quickly went to work on making us a new one. I was blown away by the accommodation and helpfulness on a busy weekend morning.

A cute, cozy coffee shop vibe. There’s a big chalkboard menu on the wall with food and juice options. It wasn’t too crowded on a Monday morning, but (for the anxious shoppers) that set up is a little uncomfortable as I felt in the way of the line as I looked at the menu. If that kind of stuff bothers you, I suggest looking online first so you’re prepared. My own anxieties aside, the two employees behind the counter were friendly and nice. I was tempted by the pastries next to the register, and I’m so glad I got the strawberry cream cheese danish. I was looking for a lil snack while I had my coffee, and this plus an americano was the perfect pair. There were pretty live floral arrangements on each table, which adds an extra touch of thoughtfulness to the overall aesthetic. I wish I had more time in Crested Butte to try more of the menu, but I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent at...

It was by chance that we went here. Several other places on a Sunday morning had very long lines, so we ended up here. The place was very comfortable with great friendly service and better prices than the others with long lines. I had an iced cold pressed coffee with vanilla and cream that was very generous and less expensive than what I had experienced elsewhere and a pastry that was a croissant with chocolate that I thoroughly enjoyed. My wife had a breakfast burrito with turkey sausage, egg, and cheese that was very fresh, grilled, and very large at a reasonable price. I have no idea why the line was short here other than the store front was somewhat non-descript. Definitely will go...
