I am so disappointed with how I was treated when I went to Berkeleys. The staff is so rude and the food is overpriced for below average quality. Bear with me now, I have a lot to say: -The manager took our order and didnât give us a number and walked away before we paid. We had to wait and get another person to help us with our payment -I ordered a smoothie and it took forever. I eventually went inside and they said they ran out of my smoothie flavor but didnât tell me⊠eventually the manager came up and said they would make it. -the smoothie I was given was the worst smoothie I think Iâve had in my life. It was a milky texture like a latte and was warm. I think they just gave me a random mix of ingredients. -the person I was with ordered a sandwich and they never brought it out. They said they called her name (we were sitting outside) and it got cold. Something to note: they were bringing other orders outside No one notified us and my sister had to go inside to ask about it for them to tell her. I find that extremely unprofessional. -lastly, we talked to the manager thinking he would sympathize with us and maybe even give us a voucher. No compensation was offered and he wasnât able to own up to his mistakes (not giving us a number and walking away at the register)
-lastly I am a teacher who dosent make a lot of money so when I go out to eat itâs important I am spending my money on good quality food and being treated with respect.

I went into this location and spoke with Jake, a member of management, seeking the name of the company so I can get my receipt. I explained the situation to him and was making comments about what happened. He responded with a very condescending, demeaning attitude. He claimed to be âtryingâ to empathize but was very rude. When his employee went back to get his attention to attend to me, he rolled his eyes and made dramatic body movements. Staff was rude, made us feel like weâre bothering them just being in the store.
When our coffee was ready, no one said a word just put it out in the pickup location and went on with their day.
I had to confirm if this is our coffee and not someone elseâs, guy was like âya, thatâs yoursâ
I also asked a question if they have something, they looked at me like Iâm stupid for asking.
