I had an amazing experience at Good Side Pizza, thanks to two standout team members—Sam behind the bar and Jonathan in the kitchen. Sam is an absolute gem of a bartender. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what he does. His drink recommendations were spot-on, and he somehow made the bar feel like the heart of the whole restaurant. Whether you’re ordering a classic cocktail or just want to chat for a minute, Sam makes you feel right at home.

In the kitchen, Jonathan is clearly working some magic. Every dish that came out was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can taste the care he puts into the food. The pizza? Next-level. Crisp crust, generous toppings, and that perfect balance of flavors that’s hard to find.

I am a Philadelphia native who moved to the DFW area several years ago, and this place has hands-down the best Italian food I’ve had since I left the east coast. The thin crust pizzas are nice and crunchy without being overcooked, the meatballs and cannolis taste like they’re straight out my grandma’s kitchen, the drinks are stiff, their prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is classy but laid back, and the food comes out hot and fresh every time. Tristan is an artist in the kitchen, and Deagan is a personable and lively server/bartender who makes you feel right at home. Sam's an absolute legend behind the bar! Super quick with the drinks, always remembers my usual, and makes the best Old Fashioned in town. Plus, he's got a great sense of humor and keeps the vibe lively. Five stars all the way! I've gotta say, Jonathan is a pizza-making wizard!
