LoHi House — Local services in Denver

I just moved to Alexan LoHi and am absolutely in LOVE. The location is absolutely perfect, so many amazing restaurants, bars, coffee shops, breweries and scenery near by. Management (Jenna and Eva are awesome!!) and building staff have been so friendly, supportive and helpful. Every single question and concern upon move in was answered with care. The building is airy and clean. It seems like they mantain it very well on a daily basis. I have been here for a month and its been amazing! Their garage is gated, covered and easy to get around. There are assigned and non assigned spots. Our 2/2 has a great balcony with stunning dwtw Denver views. The rooms are spacious with beautiful well lit windows that come with very modern nice shades. The master bathroom has a double sink and lovely tile stand up shower. Soooo much storage thoughout the apartment. We even have a great little laundry room/dog corner. The kitchen is my favorite part. An amazing gas stove and huge kitchen island. The unit I am in comes with a built in wine fridge. To die for! We moved here sight-unseen from our former home in Prague, Czech Republic (during a global pandemic, no less!), and we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. From the outset, Christie and Jenna were incredibly responsive and flexible with our international situation. They were unfazed by time zones, foreign contracts, Zoom tours, travel changes, and on. Far and away the BEST management team we've ever worked with in any state or country.

The building is in great shape; we are very happy with the quality of our apartment in terms of appliances, amenities, cleanliness, newness, etc. We're also impressed with how quiet it stays inside even when we know there are parties/loud things happening around us.

There is a covered/secure parking garage on-site, as well as a dog-washing station (probably my favorite amenity). It's in a great location as well. Very walkable. Parks, restaurants, and coffee shops all around.

My favorite thing is the neighbor-friendly community vibe in both the surrounding neighborhood and within Alexan LoHi in particular. Everyone is so nice and welcoming, and everyone has a dog.

The owners of the Alexan properties in Denver do not seem to care at all about the residential areas their construction has affected, and continues to affect, on a daily basis. These sites produce an obscene amount of unnecessary noise pollution, that is well beyond what is needed for OSHA.

On top of ruining our neighborhoods, these properties are as overpriced as it gets. You can get a better deal for a larger apartment almost anywhere else in the city. At the time of writing this review, they are offering a tiny studio starting at at $1,675 which means that with taxes and other fees, it would probably go up to $1800 or more. That is a complete ripoff for the tiny amount of space you are getting.

I recommend that anyone looking to move into this property, also consider the noise issues they have been having at the other Alexan properties, where folks are sorry they moved in.
