One of the most fun finds in Flagstaff. The owner, Nance, is a treasure. She loves to visit with customers and to share the story about how she met Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) one night at a restaurant- with ALL the details of their interaction. She will laugh, smile and lose track of what she’s doing all while savoring every moment of connecting with you. She will tell stories about friends and family as though you know them- share pictures of her latest adventures and talk about how loud the beeping frogs were the other night while looking for a video so we could hear them too- all with the most infectious smile. We simply went into an interesting shop and left with a new friend, some cool clothing finds (and a handwritten note to pass along to a shop owner she she knows and is friends with in Tuscon). In a world where you can be anything…be a Nance. If you are in Flagstaff, stop in and say Hi- I promise you will leave with lifted spirits and a smile…and maybe some cool vintage clothes...

The voicemail message says that the store opens at 11
The (new) sign on the door says they open at 12
I'm sure the store is still awesome, but they have made it really, really hard to enjoy that
I also left my name and number in a voicemail, hoping I'd at least get a "my bad, sorry about that" for 300 miles of wasted effort, but so far the proprietors do not seem to care how poorly they've treated someone who has recommended their store for over a decade
