Read moreOh man, where do i start with Anakeesta? ok, so sitting in the hotel room and my wife wants to go. i order tickers for that day. My wife sees the place as we pull up and knows automatically she'll want to come back. I go to the ticket counter and the employees were more than happy to swap out our tickets for the annual passes. WELL WORTH IT. If you go twice they already pay for themselves. oh and 20% off EVERYTHING but alcohol. That's all shops, food, and rides. No kidding, i was impressed. The Ski-lift takes you to all the fun, the bears, and the beers. There's so much to see while walking, plenty of photo opportunities, and really good food. The Light bridge at night is a beautiful and fun experience. They have bon fire going and plenty of seating throughout the park. One thing that surprised me was the history of the large fire they had a few years ago. As a firefighter i was very proud to learn something new about how a city overcomes such a tragedy. We saw bears and the employees do an EXCELLENT job keeping them at bay. The Rail Runner is a must. Its basically a single-car roller coaster that you control. I suggest taking both the ski lift and the tourish-like bus ride up the mountain. Both are really good times. Its nice to side up the side of a mountain. Overall i was really impressed and i will be back since i can go for...
Read moreGreat view. Nice and romantic yet kid friendly. Your wristband for the sky lift lasts for 2 days. I enjoyed walking across the many rope bridges. Ok now back to the sky lift 🤦🏾♂️. The worker will tell which numbers on the ground to stand on and the ride rarely stops so it kind of scoops you up. Me personally, I love rollercoasters and adrenaline rushes but this ride is not safe in the least bit. You pull down this overhead bar and that's it. There's no restraints. No seat belts. Nothing. My wife and I rode back in the red cage instead. I forget the name of them but they come once every 8 minutes. We saw kids alone on the sky lifts and some people had their babies on there. I repeat there's nothing securing you in place and the open where your legs are dangling is huge. Just about anyone can easily fit through that gap. Its sad. You can also pay to catch a ride instead but it's pretty pricey. And once you get to the pretty structure that you can see from afar, you have to walk up several flights of steps. While that doesn't bother me, it can definitely pose a problem for people who can't walk, have trouble walking or if you are...
