Dollar General — Local services in Gettysburg

This Dollar General has been in downtown Gettysburg since my elementary school days (20 some odd years) so naturally it has begun to slightly show it's age, but it has been taken care of over the years. Sometimes the store is slightly disorganized, mainly due to heavy customer traffic and shortage of employees, however, the employees are great at their job. Always willing to assist you, and very rarely do you find yourself waiting in a line. If there is an item I know I can find at the Dollar General, I am quick to choose it over Wal-Mart's prices and hustle and...

They always have what I'm looking for and staff is nice and helpful. I just wish the store didn't look so run down. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in 10 years, but I know that's not true because I've seen the staff cleaning and reorganizing the store. This particular store is always a pain. They are constantly going through staff and it shows. There are always new people who don't know how to use the register and then they must quit before they figure it out and move on to the next person. The store is dirty and disorganized. Half of the time, their store is only accepted cash and the other half of the time, they don't have enough cash in the drawer to even break a twenty.
