Shopping at Monkee’s is all about feelings for me. It is much more than retail therapy. It is a shot of dopamine- It always feels good from the minute I walk in and until I leave with clothing and accessories put together just for me. For the older generations, it feels like the show Cheer’s, where everyone knows your name. I’m a long time customer, so they know my style and size- sometimes they push me out of my comfort zone and it never fails- I end up loving it! They are VERY good at what they do. Not only are they pulling items for me to try, they are taking the time to ask me about what’s happening in my life. Jeni and the girls make me feel my best on the outside wearing the items I purchase, but also on in the inside with the attention they are giving me. Was very disappointed. The boutique overall was cute and had SOME kind staff. My experience here was truly ruined by a girl in her early twenties working there. My child and some of her friends went inside with me to look around while I was standing next to them, it was a weekday but they had school off. The girls told her they had no school, and then asked me if I needed any help I explained to her i was waiting for them so we could go. She then started laughing and told me “Oh so your with them,good because I was about to call the police on them for ditching school.” AFTER the fact they had just explained to her why they had school off. This was the worst experience ever and would say the girl should have some sort...

Nothing like walking into a boutique and getting the “up and down” look and shunned- I mean I didn’t think I wasn’t dressed to “their” standards- but instead I got ignored 😐 Awful customer service— sadly quite a few people have had the same experience. I have never written a bad review but this was disappointing considering it was my anniversary trip and probably would have spent some money in this store.

I mean I was looking at their jeans that had a price tag on them for about $268 — their loss .. 🙄
