I have been a loyal customer shopping at Macy's since the day it has opened:-) ! Since a lot of Macy's store has been closing I will hope they will never close anymore stores they used to be a very strong company that takes over Foley's but because they have great beautiful name brand clothes jewelries and watches and wallets and shoes and purses and I love all their perfumes and makeup and skincare for all ages and gender even men dress shirts underwear socks and shoes and colognes and even luggages and houseware and beds and this where I buy all my beds at:-)! I like their warranty:-)! But, they do sell furniture but you have to be careful with the delivery man because they're supposed to do this red carpet I did not get that service and they do run late and unfortunately I did have that situations that I was sexually harassed so please watch your back :-(! I'm also glad that they open a small Cafe and give you plenty points and other special infinitive and they always send me great sales and coupons so you can get a lot of savings out of your pocket :-)! I do have to say one thing I don't like I was there recently and I was shocked the ladies bathroom was filthy every single one of them was used and the toilet seat has urine on top of it and one of them has her period which there was blood on top of the toilet seat and on top of it what's even worse a huge Roach and the roach was one that I never seen in my life it was that huge it was gross :-(! I love the fashion show that they have each year and they serve champagne and hors d'oeuvres last time I got invited to this event where Mario Lopez was the guest speaker that was so wonderful because you get to interact someone who is a famous star what they're really type of personality and person they are:-)! I love it when give you great service sometimes they would even treat you like a VIP especially the ones that always take care of you in the Cosmetics Department or jewelry Department actually any Department especially if you shop there lot where they give you the extra special service that you need if you cannot find your shoe size or dress size and I do admit there are some that are lazy over there that doesn't care about you being a customer and just ignore you and don't help you out like it means nothing to do about us being loyal customers I think they should have more cashier so you don't have to wait for so long to buy anything:-)! I am also glad that did you have security guards especially when you buy expensive items and they can make sure that you be safe going to your car :-)! I do admit I hate exiting far away from my parking space because you have to walk far far away just to exit out when it's about to closing time and I don't like it when they trying to close 5 minutes earlier before it's actually closing when you need to get to your car then you end up so walking far far away again you had to go 3 levels High just exit:-(! Sometime I worry about the men's shoes because one time I bought men's shoes and he did not wear it but couple times and the heal already open on the bottom of the shoes it's practically almost new still I was so disappointed so I had to end up making an extra trip just to take care of the situation that was awful if it was cheaply made from China Macy's honor the warranty of either giving your money back fully or have an even exchange or another Exchange to equal to that price of the shoes:-(! I bought a leather jacket there and unfortunately it's already deteriorating the leather comes off and so is my leather skirt :-(! I wish they could sell watch batteries also and that someone can know how to fix the watches:-(!    Read moreVery DISTURBING and UNPROFESSIONAL cleaning service at Macys in the Galleria Mall in Houston TX. I was using the restroom on the second floor of the department store. When I was rudely interrupted by the custodianâs, (one female and a male). I was clearly using the restroom and they could clearly see someone was in there. They proceeded to start cleaning the whole restroom knowing I was in there when they shouldnât have even been in there in the first place! There is no reason why there should be a custodian to enter the restroom and âCLOSEâ it while someone is in there. They legitimately closed the restroom off with their cart and prevented other customers from using the restroom. On top of that they knocked on my door and stood around my stall telling me â to get out we need to clean the restroomâ. How unprofessional is it for someone to tell you to get out while youâre clearly using the restroom? Since I felt very uncomfortable with people standing around me in the restroom forcing me to leave by mopping under the door and around my feet and looking through the cracks of the door. I couldnât take the violation and uncomfortableness I was experiencing. I got out and I spoke with Luz (the female custodian), I told her, you know youâre not suppose to be in here and close the restroom while people are using it right? And she stated â sorry I have a job to do and my manager said I have to cleanâ. And Luz also had a male with her, and I asked him if he thought it was right for them to do this and he stated, âno inglesâ. When I clearly heard them speaking English to other customers that they said couldnât use the restroom. So I leave the restroom looking for my fiancĂ© and the custodians came out and my fiancĂ© approached them asking for their names. Thatâs when we finally knew who Luz was. But then we ask for the males name and Luz claims itâs her husband and the company allowed her to bring her husband to help with her job. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! How can a company allow a worker to bring other people to help with a job? That makes no sense to me how someone who clearly is not known by the company to do a job where they canât be identified since they were never aware they were doing the job in the first place!! Thatâs a safety concern and a hazard for Macys especially to have unknown people in their establishment with access to the facilities. Finally the Macys manager Robbie comes down and speaks with me and agrees with me that it is not right and there should not be anyone closing the restroom while someone is using the restroom and that she definitely should not had knocked on the door to rush me! He stated it was a third party company they hire called Diversify Cleaning Services. I really hope they know this is not okay and that this puts people at risk in the mall and the company at risk to have random people who are unknown for doing jobs they were never actually hired for! Please understand if this happened in a womanâs restroom and a male custodian went in there doing this same thing Luz did to me, it would look even worse and the situation would be different where a male could even end up arrested for a woman using the bathroom and him going in there! This is not okay and Iâm definitely escalating...
   Read moreI came in on 06/10/2019 around lunch time to return an item that I recently purchase online that did not work. The original Macyâs associate âtriedâ helping me but after 15 minutes she grew agitated and gave up. She told she couldnât help so I asked her if she can get someone to help us and her response was along the lines of if I canât, no one will be able too. I became upset because I recently purchase a small tool that is supposed to help you thoroughly clean your face that was priced close to $100 after taxes and I was never able to use it and she basically looked at me like it was my fault and that I would just have to keep it. After raising our voices at each other she finally turned around and asked Susan to help which she was so amazing, and that is a understatement!!! When she first asked what was going on I was trying to explain my side of the story and the other associate was talking over me at the same time to shut me up! She really grew my anger at this point!!
I was telling Susan (or her name could be Suzanne) how I felt and she kept assuring me that she will be able to assist me. She even defuse the situation by calming me down. She never spoke negatively about the other associate which she really took the high road. After another 15-20 minutes trying to figure how to return the item, having the computers turn off on her and finding 2 other avenues on how she will be able to return the item the job was finally complete. We even had really good conversation through the process. I never really write reviews but after the horrible start to the experience that lead to the great ending I had to show praise to Susan!!
I really hope that is her name because she just had really positive vibes!! She needs to be a leader at Macyâs because it takes a big personality to come in and make everyone feel like there side...
