Purchased mens suit for son. Never quite looked like a good fit despite paying for tailoring. Was treated indifferently by the staff( a young 20 something fast talker) when I brought up the lackluster job by their tailor service. Took suit to another well regarded local tailor who said suit was not only sized improperly, but the overall fit was the wrong cut and the tailoring of the pants not correctly done. Wow what a waste of more than $700. Do yourself a favor. If you are a woman and are not well versed in mens suits do not come here. And certainly do not let them convince you that their tailoring will make a suit fit properly.
Also, later came back to mens to purchase a few dress shirts. The young guy that was at the desk would not offer help to me or to at least 3 other older male customers. He kept looking at his cell phone. Finally a mature lady employee came over and offered assistance multiple times. If anyone from Dillards HR is reading this, please get rid of lazy employees in the mens department . You are paying them and they are not working. This store has nice merchandise but your younger...
Read moreIt was the worst shopping experience I have ever had. Employees were stuck up, judgemental, and outright rude to my friend and I. We went into the fitting room to try on some jeans and they kept looking at us suspiciously. On our way to check out, the associates followed us around the store, even on the escalators. We stopped walking because we were slightly freaked out by people following us and put our clothing back deciding to just leave the store without buying anything. One lady stopped us asking what we were doing and we replied nicely and apologized for putting the jeans back in the wrong spot. She was rude and motioned for us to leave the store, so we did without buying anything. My friend and I were disrespected and insulted by the employees at this dillards and will...
Read moreI walked in Dillard's to make a return for my mother and happened to walk in the door near men's outdoor brands, such as Costa, Hurley, Tommy Bahama, etc. I couldn't BELIEVE the sale they were having and how absolutely cheap these brands were! I purchased a Tommy Bahama sweatshirt, regularly $110 for $18! A North Face vest for $14, Salt Life zipped Hoodie for $11, Hurley lightweight long sleeve was $11 & had matching board shorts that I did pay full price for, but come on....and it continues. I left with a huge bag of high end outdoor/fishing/golf brands having spent $130. I saved over $300! Even a Marmot button up...still on Marmot's site for $85, was $15! Not to mention help from a wonderful lady there in the men's department. Highly...
