What began with a mistaken order finalization within the shop app ended as one hell of a rollercoaster ride… with an unexpectedly awesome conclusion.
My son’s iPad finally decided to end it with honor, leaving him holding a recently deceased paperweight. Right before it died, we had FINALLY found a service that he liked to help combat his learning disability. In effort to bring a new soldier to the front (while also placating his little sister’s jealousy since he would get an new iPad and she wouldn’t), I ordered 2 2019 32g iPads, 2 Cases, and one 2023 AirPod Earbuds (those were for me). Prices were far more agreeable than I had found during my research as each item’s baseline (not sale) was comparatively basement level. I had intended to use a credit card to place my order during the order review, but the Shop app slingshotted me past the card entry and straight into “Zero your bank account” land. I put in a support request (probably filled with panicky nonsense) to SimplyApple, but knew it’d probably be awhile until I heard anything. To my great surprise, I received a response from the sales manager… on a Sunday… over Memorial Day weekend. Tony (sales manager) was able to cancel the order, refund the money, and he personally worked with me through getting another order placed. I had provided what I thought to be a full picture of my order, but in fact was a cut-off image excluding 2/3 of the items. My efforts were rewarded with panic after it arrived and I found it was 2/3 short. My belligerent terror from once again screwing the pooch didn’t last long, as Tony had been thorough enough to hash out the previous mix-up over text. Thankfully, I was able to use his boy-scout preparedness as a pathway for yet another resolution. Just like the first time, Tony went far beyond the call of duty to assist, despite the cause of the error laying square in the middle of my lap. Sooooo… as of today, I’ve received the original order in its entirety, with each item being of far higher quality than I expected.
Now that my tale has been told, there’s one last thing I need to do: Thank you StrictlyApple for providing top-tier merchandise that’s so reasonably priced. Thank YOU especially Tony for doing far more to bring about this resolution than what was expected. Your efforts to troubleshoot this mix-up, that you long ago passed the point where even a saint would have pause. Because your service was SO extra-ordinary, I want to make sure you know that having you on the other side of all this was an absolute pleasure. Thank you, for each and every bit of your effort during this journey. I honestly could not have done it...
Read moreI should have known and went with my gut after placing my order with Tony the Sales Manager at the location in Grove City off of Thistlewood Dr. I ordered a purple iPhone 14 plus and a dark blue/black 14 plus and was told by Tony himself that he made sure I got the 256gb Which both 128gb and 256 gb were on my order and my financing paperwork. So as I understood 1 would be 128gb and another 256gb Placed my order on the Friday before Labor Day and was delivered on the Wednesday following I called the store they said the order was delivered and that I can pick it up drove there to be told that the warehouse sent the wrong phones and was given a measly $25 in store credit and was told they would have them there by Thursday which turned into Friday as it was early evening about 5:00 pm So Friday roles around and got a phone call from Tony and he stated that my phones are there and ready to be picked up again I got off work and went straight there. I looked over the phones which were in pretty good shape I do have to say, I will give them that credit. But wouldn’t you know both phones where 128gb and not one 256gb. Also when Tony called me on Friday I asked about cases and screen protectors to be thrown in and he said if he had them he would thrown them in on the house. He then stated that if he called or texted me back that means they had some( which I already knew what that meant he didn’t have them). So while there and debating on whether to take the phones or not or cancel the order all together he then stated that let me see what accessories he could throw in and miraculously wouldn’t you know 2cell phone cases appeared. I guess if I wasn’t lied to and mislead then I wouldn’t had been so upset just be honest with people that would be good business practice. And give people what they paid for and expected. Oh yeah Toney said they must had mislabeled the 256gb phone and because of the price that is why I got 128gb. Not my fault on your inventory or your employees when it came out your mouth and even put that on my financing paperwork. I feel like they should still make it right and do something better than the $25 credit and...
Read moreSave yourself the hassle of dealing with bad customer service being told you’re wrong (with proof) and just bad experiences go someplace else don’t use this bunch of people. They have way too many bad reviews and with everyone they come back with a rebuttal that makes no sense to what the original complaint was just to make themselves look better they are a just a get Rich quick scheme that has no clue how to care for Customer and do business! I have dealt with them through email and even speaking with them on the phone they are rude nasty, I would like to see how many people they are taking advantage of from sending out rubbish too their website post that some of their items may have scrapes Dent Or minor damage, but they don’t mention anything about the software, and how software runs out of date they offered no plan to fix the problem. All their photos are the same for all of their products they have newer laptop photos posted and you receive useless out of date products like older laptops, so you don’t get what you actually think you’re purchasing. There’s no technical description for any other products they use the baseline market titles for their products with no descriptions of anything not to mention they’re shipping process is flawed in many ways, I received two tracking numbers for one package, and when reaching out to try to rectify the situation, they offered no solution other than to send the laptop back and they would give me Credit towards what I originally thought I was ordering honestly just go someplace else save yourself the hassle I guarantee you they’ll end up coming and replying to this complaint trying to make themselves look like they’re not the bad guy but the same thing that I’m sitting here typing in this review, there are other complaints with the Better Business Bureau on other social media platforms Other private forums about...
