my last two times at this restaurant I have had a portion issue. the second to last time I picked up dinner for myself and my wife. When we got home we where disappointed by the portion of the protein in the box. It was a very small amount for the both of us. Usually it is a decent amount that makes it worth the price. My son decided tonight he wanted Panda so this time I told him we need to go inside because they don't give you very much in the drive thru. The time was 9:14 when we walked in. The restaurant closed at 10:00. Most of the item's were gone and the bowls put away and only a few things were left out. (Very disappointed that I showed up within regular business hours but my experience did not matter like someone who came earlier). I decided to get the Sweetfire chicken breast and Chow Mein. I watched as she put it in my box and it looked like to me that she just scooped maybe a very few pieces of chicken and mainly onion, peppers and pineapple. I was not sure so I did ask for more chicken. So at last minute I decided to get the shrimp as well since I might not have had much of a main course. When I got home I found there was two pieces of chicken and then a mound of peppers, onion, and pineapple. Highly dissatisfied I had another issue right after the last one. I called the store 4 minutes before 9:30 and nobody cared to answer. I left a message.
My son got a good amount of orange chicken like he normally gets the many times we previously went there but a much lesser amount of shrimp than I got.
Im completely dissatisfied. I chalked up my experience the second to last visit to either an employee training problem or just someone who didn't care. I chose to think of it as anbut anomaly and hoped that it wouldn't happen again. However, this visit convinced me that employees are not trained well or the restaurant doesn't care about the customer. The concern seemed to be about going home early. If the phone had been answered, I hope I would have been taken care of and would not have had to make this complaint, however, it appears that I expected too much when I assumed there would be food ready during business hours and that my time and money would guarantee me decent service.
Positive side: Chow Mien was good and the honey walnut shrimp was also very good. And my two pieces of chicken were very good also.
UPDATE: I never received a call back. I called again and left another message. I never heard from anyone. I will never return. Recommend is different...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO EAT BUGS!!!!
Had a friend post this last night on Facebook and knew it needed shared on reviews of this place. Clearly the health department needs to come make a visit and ASAP!! There’s a picture but I don’t know how to post it. It’s very clearly a big with a wing.
My friend said: “Didn't have many options to cook tonight so we went against our better judgement and door dashed from Panda Express on Stringtown Rd. I had ate about 9/10 of my food when I took a bite that tasted off. Was sour and bitter and there was something hard and crunchy that I was having trouble chewing up. Spit it out and wouldn't you know, it's a giant insect. You can cleary see the leg and the wing. Can't say what it is for sure seeing as to how I already ate half of him, but I'm leaning towards big cockroach. My fiancé called panda while I went downstairs and took shots of the highest proof whiskey I have in an attempt to sterilize my insides. Apparently the girl she spoke with was extremely nonchalant and said that if we wanted a refund we would have to dispute the charge with our bank... I'm livid. This. This is why eating out just isn't worth it folks.
I made it public so people could share.
Update: The entomologists have concluded it was most likely a leaf footed bug. So...
Read moreI have now had 3 bad experiences at the Grove City location . This visit i ordered my food, where the young lady presenting handed me a bag with my plate turned sideways. I handed it back and asked her to fix the fact my food was now mixed in the container. All she did was turn the plate up right in the bag and hand it back to me. So, i opened the plate and told her she needed to give me new food that was not on one side of the container mixed all together. Her response was what is wrong with what she gave me. I explained again, she huffed away, spoke to a young man, came back and told me to pull around, they would bring new food out in 10 minutes. I said i needed to be compensated for the inconvenience, again huffing at me, I asked to speak to the manager, who came to the window and said WHAT. I told him the same as i did the young lady and all he said you wait or dont wait. Neither apologized, he rolled is eyes at me, so i said just give me my money back. That seemed to irritate him, for which he grabbed his own wallet, pulled out a 20 dollar bill and tried to hand it to me. I told him all i needed was the 7.60 i had just paid. This experience was completely unacceptable. Both individuals should not be in the positions dealing...
