Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Jackson Township

TL:DR - This location would make a good "ghost" kitchen for Charleys to use for food delivery services & takeout only.

Good: It was near where I was in Grove City when I needed to stop and eat.

Bad: Restaurant was not clean, at all...I had to do a complete table wipe-down myself, and every other table in the place was filthy, as was they entire drink station area. Location is WAY TOO SMALL for the volume of people coming in and picking up orders, or eating there. My order was not correct (packed to-go instead of eat in), and their POS scanner "doesn't worry lots of the time" (according to an employee), so I lost out on a $5 reward coupon...sorry, not sorry according to Charleys. Food - could've been much better. Notice the picture I'm including with this review of the overflowing order of "ultimate" fries...I'm hoping all the calories from what I did get went into the air in the mostly empty carton.

Won't ever eat here again, even if I'm about to pass out from low blood sugar. Other Charley's locations in CMH are much larger and better run than this one, the employees are more friendly, and you get the portions that...

I stopped going to this location because they don't cook sandwiches with bbq sauce if you want nor put it on....only on side. Don't have all the new side items like boneless & bone-in chicken with different flavors . The one in North High Street has a better selection and will fix your food how you want it. I will go there to spend my $50 per meal for my family. Sad because I live closer to this location. Oh well. Guess the customer is not important.🤷‍♀️

Update 12-12-18:

I do travel across town to Charleys Grilled Subs 5033 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214 for dinner. The chicken wings are great too. The owners of this Charley's sent me an email, asked me for my information stating they would love to speak with me about my experience. I responded and provided my information...........I was never contacted. Want to improve your service? Care about your customers?

This is not the action of an establishment that care about the customers. Wow! As long as there are people accepting the sub--par food its OK. Shame on you.

2-12-19: Not a...

I'm giving a 2 because customer service goes a long way.... I was just at this store and the customer sitting down brought his sandwich up asking for green peppers, guy said are you sure we didn't put them on there?... guy then asked for cold peppers yo put on his hot sandwich...they looked at him like he asked for national security codes or something.... I ordered a Chicken Philly, saw them putting pickles on it... didn't ask for them... they pointed at the sign, which said "all of our STEAK Phillys come with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and pickle... I pointed out mine was a chicken and I have NEVER gotten pickles on my chicken Philly...and I always order it standard... deer in headlights and he said thats all our sandwiches... steak isn't chicken dear... so now my chicken Philly has a faint pickle taste that is just wrong... sigh.. used to...
