Five Guys — Restaurant in Jackson Township

Been here three times -- frustrating experience every time. I was hoping it was just this location but a previous reviewer said this was one of the best in Central Ohio. Location is clean, but takeout service is painfully slow. I get it, cook to order is going to take some time. So my most recent order I ordered online for 30 minutes later, and it still took 10 minutes to get my food. Apparently they don't drop your fries until you arrive for takeout; my experience was them dropping them 5 minutes after I arrived. Five Guys should put a warning on their website when you add fries to your order that it'll add 5-10 minutes instead of sneaking it onto the receipt (I was in a hurry, so I would have forgone them). While waiting I glanced around at all the shells of people wondering if/when their food was ever going to come. Finally got my food and went home to discover it was wrong. Nice staff, but three strikes...

I arrived at the Grove City location to pick up a $45 order i placed online "for my convenience". At 6:02 pm. Per my online confirmation my order should have been ready by 5:55 pm. At which point i was told theyre just put my fries on. So im like cool fresh fries! No big deal. So at 6:16 pm, after i watched 3 other people receive their order. I asked "so im just waiting on fries?" and everybody was apologetic and jumped right to it. And offered me a free drink. But i was more worried about my burgers sitting in a bag getting cold and soggy for 20 MINUTES! Before i even started my commute home. Nobody else was apparently. So at 6:25pm I walked out of the store with my order in hand. Fresh fries and 4 burgers that had sat in a bag for 30 minutes. Way to screw the pooch 5...

Absolutely outstanding burgers, and fries are amazing as well. The only down side is you def pay for what your getting. Don't expect McDonald's prices, and have your wallet ready. The store it's self when I have been there has always been clean and we'll maintained. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and def understand when your paying that much for a burger you should get it exactly the way you want it, and will go above and beyond to make sure your food is the way you want it. Definitely one of those places you just gotta try at least once.......
